Starscream has pretty much the only altmode in the movie line that suffers from the robot mode. For that reason alone I think he needs a larger version. He may have not been much of a charecter in the movie (virtully none of the tfs were anything other than bit parts in their own movie) but he is still Starscream, and still deserves a better toy than the one he actully got.

Out of the handful of movie stuff I've gotten, Starscream is the one I absolutely hate. I think he was fantastic in the movie, I even orginally thought the toy sucked. I saw my friend transforming his and thought, Wow, he's not so bad. Then I bought my own. Wow, he IS that bad. Making him a leader class figure would certainly change the trasnformation and some of the articulation. I'd certainly be interested enough to give him another shot. Because I do so hate the version we got. I really really do. I still cannot fathom why Brawl got the leader treatment or why people are so ga-ga over it. TF fans, we're a crazy bunch, I tell ya.

Movie Starscream needs a MASTERPIECE figure. 100% accurate Raptor, arms and legs that store away in the body a bit better. I'm not sure how they'd handle those cannons.

detachable grouped missiles from the undercarriage that attach to a gimmick that can be slid out from the palm of the artuicualted hands...then connect the missiles to the attachment and whalla, you have his signature missile hand cannons, all while giving him an accurate altmode..

a leader class starcream would be cool but it wouldnt last 2 seconds in a store and it will be on ebay for 100 dollars

I think Starscream needs a Leader Class makeover. He really isn't in scale.

I would buy both ( I already own Blackout and the two Voyager Starscreams) myself. But then I love Starscream. And I'm a sucker for military aircraft.

But I'm hoping that they change Starscreams sausage hands!

look here is how the movie line up should have been done the first time...

Ultra Class:

Blackout, uber articulated, electronic with lights and sounds, and a fully painted and articulate Scorponok.

Optimus Prime, closer to the movie design in botmode with the correct proportions, and with super Metal finish, and a more posable head..with an energon blade...

Megatron, uber articulated, moveable head on ball joint, the head hidden in Altmode, with super metal finish with gold trim..

Leader class:

Optimus Prime, with super Metal finish, and a more posable head..with an energon blade...

Megatron, moveable head on ball joint, with super metal finish with gold trim..


Starscream, with posable fingers and hidden undercarriage for sleek altmode..

Bonecrusher, large enough to enact the highway battle with Prime, and more articualtion in the arms..

Brawl...nothing he's pretty close to a perfect toy so far..
maybe have the grey parts metallic silver instead of grey plastic colors...

Voyager class:

Bumblebee 08 and 70s Camaro, with good paint applications and both with correct transformation...wide release so everyone could get one..

Barricade, he's got to be bigger to enjoy all that coolass badness!!! he's like a darthvader or something!! I love that freaking toy and want bifgger and better of him.. i can't get enough Barricade!!!

Ratchet..he's pretty much there as far as the toy goes...

Ironhide, I'd improve the foot joints and the legs to be ratcheted so they stand better..

Deluxe class:

Anything else and aanyone else not in the moviue as a transformer!!!

i would welcome an upgrade for blackout, but not for starscream. I just don't find him attarctive at all. Jin definately makes him look MUCH better, but imo he's still very displeasing aesthetically, both face-wise and body-wise. but that's just me. ive seen plenty of people like starscream, and thats cool too.

You have a point, Jin did make him more attractive, however Jin could make a pile of moldy bread look attractive. He's that good.

I like the design of Starscream, however I just don't like the voyager figures transformation. For me thats the best thing about transformers, I often display mine mid-transformation, which is why I've put of getting Voyager SS until I know for sure there will not be a larger size.

If they really do a Leader class SS, i hope he's not just an upsizing of the Voyager figure (i.e. Cybertron SS)...

Well as for fears of them just upsizing the already crappy voyager mold of Starsscream, I say, lets give Hasbro a break... they did a fair job with upgrading Brawl.

Historically, the release of Cybertron Supreme Starscream, which granted was an upsized version of Takara's Galaxy Force voyager class, was Hasbro's first release of that toy.... in all fairness, Hasbro didn't release the voyager class, until it was a 2 pack exclusive with Vector Prime.
First it was just a Supreme class figure, so to Hasbro's defense, they originally only initially released one size figure of Cybertron Starscream, and that was the supreme class..

My hope is that once they get closer to X-mas and DVD release, they will upgrade to Leader class, Blackout and Starscream, as well as give us voyager Bumblebees and Barricades...Screw scale, that has always been an issue, and if you don't want the voyagers because they throw your toys scale off, then don't get them..

Look, this is the first Live action Transformers Movie, Ever!!! The toys and their class sizes, quality and paint applications should all be top notch... it's a historic Toyline, akin to the G-01 first release, because this is the first release of the G-01 Transformers in Live action!! It made millions of Money, and is larger then life, why shouldn't the toys based on that movie not be any different?

I love Barricade and the 08 Bumblebee, and to see them upgraded to a voyager class simply as a "battle Royal" piece for my shelf someday, would be kickass..

I could always display my deluxes in scale with the rest.. but have BB and Barricade in another section..my "Versus" section..TRANSCON:

Starscream needs an upgrade to fix the shoulder issues, the head coming out of his arse in Jet mode, and actually the entire Jet mode is sacrficed for the bot mode, which even still the toy just rants low on the list of anything Hasbro has produced.. Granted Blackout was awesome, and is kind of a fan favorite like Wolverine of the X-men, so I agree he needs an upgrade as well, but atleast he got a decent voyager toy, with an awesome altmode...Starscream is a staple of transformers lore and as such should have had a more "correct" Toy, Period!! :
