Just what do you count when counting your TF? I never know if I should just count the ones that actrually transform or everything that is a TF, like my PVC figs.
Long live the Decepticons!! I love G1 Starscream!!

Don't tell Starscream, but I'm in love with movieverse Ironhide! ;)

Current TF count: 255 (and growing)

I only count transforming figures and I don't count heads of headmasters because they are accessories.

Yeah. Cause my count includes my PVC figs. Without them, my count would be a bit lower.

Well some of you guys make my collection look small and I have 533 of them. Yeah I just finished recounting my collection and the total is 533 but it still pales compared to some of your guys collection.

You are still talking unique figures not repaints and variants Getter? Because if so the repaints would almost double that number. If you were going for completism.

I am including repaints. I include all figures that were released in a line. The only thing I don't count is like the Energon figures that were released in Universe packaging for the dollar stores.

Also, I just counted every G1 figure...I was off, there were 393 G1 figures released in the US. This includes all mail orders (Reflector counts as 3), repaints (like Prowl, Bluestreak, and Smokescreen), and promotional items like Pepsi Prime are counted individually as well. I also count Micromaster combiners individually, so the packs where there were 3 vehicles made up of two figures each count as 6 figures. I don't count headmaser heads, or any other master since they are accessories, as well as I don't counts accessory figures like the little guy that came with Metrolex or scorponoks little figure. Also, I wasn't sure about counting Classic Legends (because they were the inside of the Classic Preteners without a shell), or mini-spies. If you want to count them, add 16 to the count total.

Well 2000 isn't a bad guess at all then. Still 10 times what I would guestimate I have, and way more than I would ever really want to own.

I really need to work on that database one of these days. Makes keeping count and keeping track so much easier. Would help with the DVDs too which is approaching 500.

With my count, the combiners and Mini-con/Micro-Masters teams was counted as one figure. If I counted them all separately that would increase my count considerably...

Only 390 atm. On the other hand all that I still want from all lines are: G1 Grimlock, Swoop, Sunstreaker, Metroplex, Tripticon, Scorpinok, Fort Max. Alternators: Nemesis Prime, Decepticharge, Rumble(Frenzy. He's red.), Ravage, Rodmius. Titanium: G1 Ultra Magnus. Masterpiece: Megatron. I guess 404 would be a good stopping point.

I have about 60 figures, all transforming. None of that static crap thankyouvermuch!

Sadly, only about 5 or 6 of those are G1 figures, and then only reissues. The Unicron Trilogy makes up the bulk of my collection, but missing large chunks of Cybertron.

I'm an ex-completist.

hmm, how do you count the combiners? if they are transformed together 1? or seperate 6?
depending on how you figure,
i have @ 250.
all the classics, masterpieces, alternators, movie line, 40+ g1 figs, 40+ armada & energon & cybertron, the starwars tf's, all the titanium 6"..
not too bad, other than g1, masterpiece and some more movie toys are the only things i see in the future, and robot heroes, they are so cute

cydchang, do you have more pics of that monster collection? I'm rather impressed, as I'm sure many others are. 1600+ is a very commendable number.

I do feel for those who can't display much less own large quantities of TFs due to home size restraints. I, too would like to display them properly, but will have to wait until later in life. I do, however, take all my G1s to school for display purposes...most everybody is rather taken aback by the large quantity. I would like to find a way to have them all up with the 300+ SW figs, 100+ GI Joes, 100+ Power Ranger thingies, 100+ TMNT, 200+ X-Men/ML/superheroes, 50+ MASK, and 50+ Ghostbusters...however, as TF is my favorite collection, I spend the most time/money to make it grow.

Last time I updated my collection list, it was just over 200. But that was well over a year ago! Right now, I'd say at least 300, maybe 350. Dare I say 400? Spanning virtually every line. The only lines not present are original G1(I have some reissues), G2, Machine Wars, and any of the Japanese G1 series'. I think that's it, unless you count the Takara versions of the Hasbro lines like Binaltech(Alternators), Masterpiece(Anniversary), or Cybertron(Galaxy Force) to name a few.
