Who here has a huge, big collection of Tokusatsu merchanchise such as Super Sentai/Power Rangers
and Kamen Rider, Metal Hero's, Ultraman? because I love Super Sentai/Power Rangers since I grew up in the 90's, but mainly the original Zyuranger/MMPR, and i'm barely getting into Kamen Rider(i enjoyed Saban's Masked Rider, but I know Kamen Rider is much better), VR Troopers(which is part of the Metal Hero series franchise), since i'm a member of this site i obviously am a huge Transformers fan too, and the least i'm familiar with is Ultraman but I have huge respect and admiration for Ultraman since he is a huge mileston in Japanese Pop-Culture, Tokusatsu, like Super Sentai/Power Rangers would likely not exist if not for Ultraman and Kamen Rider, I will have pictures of it soon though but I recently ordered, bought the very rare Dragon Buckler off eBay recently.

I also should have mentioned, if any of you here just enjoy collecting Super Sentai/Power Rangers merchandise, like the Giant Mecha's/Megazords(hey I love Giant Robots, as why I'm a huge Transformers fan too) and the Henshin/Morphing devices, and from Kamen Rider, Metal Heroes, Ultraman

My collection is, unfortunately, nothing in that aspect, but I am keeping a close eye on the releases. If only I had enough money for that Zeo Megazord!

As a kid I had all of the Megazords up to Power Rangers Turbo, I stopped watching power rangers when they did the whole in space series. As for Kamen Rider I have I believe a little over 20 of the SH figures. I always liked how you could take off all of the armor pieces, all though the tiny head was always a little funny. My favorite SH figure and Rider would have to be The Bee from the KM Kabuto series, my second favorite character would have to be Odin from the Ryuuki series.

this is my only Sentai Henshin device, since I barely started collecting Sentai/Power Ranger Henshin devices, Morphers, it is a Pre-Zyuranger Henshin device, so it is from a Sentai series that never got adapted for Power Rangers in the Western World, it is from Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman:

it's from 1990, Fiveman was the Sentai series before Jetman, and after Jetman was Zyuranger:

Re: Who here has a huge, big collection of Tokusatsu merchanchise such as Super Sentai/Power Rangers
MY DRAGON BUCKLER FINALLY ARRIVED TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, what is often considered to be the Holy Grail, the Crown Jewel of all Sentai/Power Ranger Henshin Devices, Morphers, here is a specific description of it: As i'm sure every Sentai fan with an internet connection knows, the Dragon Buckler is the Henshin Device of Dragon Ranger, the very first Sixth Sentai Character to become a continuous part of a Sentai series [Yes, I know of X1 Mask from Maskman...he hardly counts].
So how is this toy different from the Dynobuckler? Aside from being gold in color, the Dragon Buckler includes Dragonranger's coin as well as the other five coins. Aside from this, there is no change.
The toy itself is the same as the Dyno Buckler. Press the button and the four lights flash and the beeping beeps. Standard stuff. and as for the prices this thing has been going for these days? Pass it up unless you hit the lotto. For this money, you could buy some way cooler Changers AND a Dyno Buckler.
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers...sorry. You were stuck with just a Power Morpher. No gold version or Tommy Version was ever released in North America or the Western World. Not even the coin has seen the American market. This, of course, drives the value and desireability of the Dragon Buckler even higher. If you are a fan of the Green Power Ranger(the original one to the Western Audiences)...you'll just have to import this. Or buy a replica coin and paint your Power Morpher Gold.
But I am know a proud owner of one of the most sought after collector's items of all-time!!!!!!!!!!!:

I'm excited for you, but Morphers have never been my thing. When it came to Power Rangers, I was more concerned about having the Megazords.
Green Ranger is the best ranger. There is no arguing that and anyone that tries will be swiftly defeated by the missiles from the Dragonzord's fingers.
I really like the new version they did of the original Megazord, but I want a Modern version of the Dragonzord so I can combine the Mastadon, Triceratops, and Sabertooth with it. That was always an awesome combo to me.
Soon I'll have to put up pics of my collection.

I've seen the Samurai Megazord in stores (imagine that, we haven't had them since Wild Force, even then we only for the Predazord!) and while he may look good he has a major shortcoming: no Emblem Forms, especially for the lion. Still, he's a nice alternative, I just wish Bandai would resume importing the Sentai toys again.

I wish Bandai would go back to making indestructible bricks for Megazords. Compare the old stuff to now and it's nowhere near as sturdy.

yeah that Dragon Buckler was selling for $2,000 bucks at last year's Power Morphicon, the highest price i've ever seen it go for, but that one there was brand new, never been opened before, the one I have, I bought it off eBay for $850 bucks, but it was used, but it still is in complete condition, no missing stickers, the stickers were already applied, all 6 coins, the holster, and the lights and sound still work, but on average the Dragon Buckler goes for over a thousand dollars since it is so rare and sought after. I still have my Dragonzord but it is missing some parts, the original Sentai version of the Dragonzord is better than the American one, called Dragon Caeser, they are the same size, same model, except the Sentai version has the TV-Accurate stickers, and the Sentai version, the Drill-Tip is shiny Chrome, meanwhile the American re-lease is just grey-plastic, those are the main differences. Yeah it's a shame they never made a new modern version of the Dragonzord, they did for the Original Megazord and Titanus, ashame they did not do the Dragonzord, i heard it had to do with some legal issues with Saban.

There's a new Titanus and I didn't know about it? That sucks. I want it now.
Strange they would have legal issues with Saban. I thought Bandai had control over the Megazords.
Saban isn't even around anymore if I recall correctly. That's why Disney has all the old Power Rangers shows and Transformers RID.

Re: Who here has a huge, big collection of Tokusatsu merchanchise such as Super Sentai/Power Rangers
I dig a little digging on the Dragonzord and it's possible that we'll see it soon. The reports are saying that a new Dragonzord was Bandai's number 1 most requested figure and that it's planned for late 2011. I'm thinking a Christmas item.
Bandai would be dumb to not release it. Green Ranger was the coolest Ranger when he came out and with Tommy being the longest running character in the series, it fits that his first Zord will come back.
Dragonzord will be bought on sight if it's ever released. Apparently there's a prototype so I have hope.
I feel like a little kid again.

Saban has been re-established and bought back the Power Rangers franchise from Disney. Look at the logo for the Power Rangers Samurai series, it clearly says "Saban's" on top, just like the says of old.

yeah I believe Saban did that last year, I wish they would also release Zyuranger and the other Sentai series on DVD with English subtitles, the only DVD's they have of it are just Japanese release only, no English subtitles, here are some more clear, non-blurry pics of my Dragon Buckler:

Anybody know what the deal is with http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=MGH10254&mode=retail this. It appears to be candy toy versions of some of the 70/80's Sentai vehicles, Mechs. Do they combine/transform?

I wouldn't think so at this scale. and I wouldn't call them candy toys either, they have way too much detail for that. I'm thinking they're little statues of:
- Battle Fever Robo
- DaiDenJin
- Sun Vulcan Robo
- Bio Robo
in robot and (split) vehicle mode, plus their carrier.

Probably not. One Sentai Robo has had a SOC release though: Battle Fever Robo.

i know this was discussed in another thread, but I believe the man who designed Predaking also designed some of the Pre-Zyuranger Megazords/Giant Mecha's
