With the movie fast approching and all the new toys on horizin. I thought I would pause and reflect on what got us to this point in particular the gestalt transformers. For me I have to say that the best gestalt of all time is toss up between bruticus and defensor. So who do you think is the best of all time it can be from any series.

Magnaboss, in every aspect this toy is incredicble, the gestalt, the individual bots and alt modes-even his bmf sword rock socks

G-1 DEVASTATOR merge for the kill.he is by far the greatest gestalt.

Do you have the KO? My original is pretty damn sturdy.
Anyway I agree Devastator is the best, the individual bots look good in both modes and having different transformations really gives them extra points for me. The lack od posability combined doesn't really botherme too much, afterall none of theother combiner really had much in the way of posability anyway but Dev looks good regardless.

Meh,

Kinda looks cool when merged but at the same time he's kinda top heavy.

Kind looks like a body builder. All show-muscle no ability to do more than lift heavy things and pose.

Honestly Most combiner kinda suck (IMHO).

Landfill was pretty good but not great (same with the train combiners, but the sucked a little bit more)

I guess my Favs would be Predaking and Piranacon, but only for sentimental reasons.

Yeah, people always seem to forget about the two Beast Wars combiner - great figures, Tripredacus is still one of my all time bests. Magnaboss looks especially good in combined mode - he really looks like one robot, and not a really awful mix of two bots for arms and two bots for legs like some other combiners...

But personally, I always loved Piranacon. The individual molds are great and the combined form is beautiful. The colours mesh together wonderfully and he's armed to the teeth!

Since I have all the combiner molds, I'll have to say G1 Devastator.

out of the ones I own, bruticus and predaking toys kick ass. as for toon, Liokaiser does it for me, he's got lethal smarts that means he can take down any opponent

For best looking and sheer size and power--G1 Predaking.

Although, honorable mention goes to RID Railracer for being the one that actually looks realistic and is the most logically poseable.

I've only owned a few Gestalts, but out of all of them I like Predaking the most. Yup. He's a bright orange, yellow and red brick, but there's something great about his blockiness.

Plus he has loads of diecast.

The RID combiners piss all over anything that has come before or since. The stability, range of movement, articulation and pure ingenuity of these figures out does any other existing combiner team. I almost regret selling them, but my major problem with them is they had no or very little character. A criticism that can be leveled at pretty much every other gestalt in Tranformers history which is why I no long own any of them.

It's gotta be Piranacon. He was the best Gestalt of all time, & that's it. He owns all other Gestalts. Plus he looked awesome.

Rail Racer definatly the coolest in my book

My favorite is Abominus. Not the brightest, but I loved all the creatures that made him. Highly underrated.

I final found out who LioKaiser is I have to say he is really cool he rank right up there with autobot counterpart Road Caesar.

Raod Ceasar sucks! Most people rate him as the worse combiner ever! It's like 3 giant Micromasters that look like crap when put together.
