My favorite Autobot is obviously Rodimus. He had the most depth in his charecter. I also really liked Rattrap for his sense of humor.

Galvatron was my favorite decepticon he was an all around bad ass. My favorite Episode with him was Web World. A close second would be Swindle.

Tricky question. For an Autobot, it has to be Prime. I know it's a cliche, but he was my childhood hero. Hell, still is my hero. If we can all try to live up to his standards, maybe the world will be a better place?

As for the Decepticon, that's where it gets tricky. Megs is too much the generic supervillain/tyrant to be my absolute favorite. Starscream has a lot going for him, but then I kinda liked how Swindle acted (selling his teammate's parts, etc). And Rumble was kinda fun. Damnit, I don't have an answer.

Wow this is really tricky for me becuase I've come to appricate all of the characters from G1 since I've gotten older.

As a kid it was

Autobot: Bumblebee followed closely by Hound (gotta love a guy that can make holograms like that) and Inferno (just dug the firetruck). Because Bumblebee was so small and he could do a lot of things like the other Autobots, and because I was smallest in my class.

Decepticon: Starscream followed closely by by Rumble. After seeing Fire in the Sky, I always felt sorry for Starscream. He lost what I guess was his best friend and went all hellbent.

Movie:
Autobot: Blurr -because we were both speed talkers.
Decepticon: Really wasn't one becuase the ones I liked they killed off.

Beast wars
Maximal: Dinobot followed by Silverbolt -He was a character that you had to respect, choosing to go against what he was programed to follow what he felt was the truer course.

Predacon: Terrorsaur followed closely by Waspinator and a weak third was Tarantulas -Terrorsaur was just friggen awesome. A schemer that would make Starscream proud. Waspinator...well who can't love that guy.

Armada
Autobot: Sideways, becuase he's just kinda cool.
Decepticon: Starscream, becuase of the noble streak in him.

Out side of all of that, I'd say Sideswipe becuase he's just a badass who probably has a lot of issues. And Paul Dobson rocked as his voice.

For me Top Three Cons:

Scorponok, Shockwave, Scourge (Shall I GUTT Ultra Magnus?!!)

and Bots.

Ultra Magnus, Fortress Maximuss and Sky Lyx.

I've always liked Optimus Prime the most, but when I first started watching Transformers when I was really young, Prowl was my favourite Autobot.

As for Decepticons, it's always been Starscream. I always liked how he gave Megatron a headache all the time, and seemed to deviate a lot more than the other Decepticons.

My all time favourite Decepticon has always been Megatron followed closely by Soundwave then Shockwave.

As far as the Autobots go my all time favourite would have to be Grimlock followed closely by Optimus Prime then Sideswipe.
