I never understood the size difference between those two. Max and Scorponok were supposedly supported by The Rebirth, in which they were equally sized. So why not same sized toys, going either way? Was Fort Max that generation's 'Titan'? Was that toy the one that was supposed to be the Wow! factor? He cost around $100 in the US, IIRC, and 30 years ago that was a lot more than it is now. Didn't Hasbro think they could get away with 2 figures that size?ZeroWolf wrote:Plus looking at the size of the toys, I think scorpy would rather fight powermaster prime then the gigantic fort max

King Poseidon sure had a sort of grudge every time Super or God Ginrai showed up to face him. Anyone else the king ever fought didn't suddenly make it personal for him like Ginrai's presence did.ZeroWolf wrote:Forgot about the seacons, though I would call them a threat, not a rival in the sense of what the original posters query.

Well, yeah, since Ginrai being a faction leader gave him too much responsibility to focus on just one Decepticon over all of them, especially one who, while still posing a great threat, did not posing the greatest threat by the time Overlord and BlackZarak came along for him to have to contend with. But King Poseidon never did let go of his ill feelings towards Ginrai.ZeroWolf wrote:A one sided rivalry then?

Cool head-canon, but despite the toy sizes being a bit different:Darknova wrote:In Japan GodGenrai's nemesis was Overlord but he never scaled well in toy form. Hasbro did not even bother releasing Overlord figure in the US. I pose "Doubledealer" was tobe Prime's nemesis. Doubledealer was to become the decepticons new leader and may even been the 3rd incarnation of Megatron.
