Worst classics design.

A lot of people have written about their favorites, now for the opposite. Which is the worst, in your opinion?
Mine:
Grimlock - too top heavy and an awkward leg design

I'll agree with Grimlock. The upper body and head sculpt is great. But I hate the legs.

Grimlock too, he was an improve ment of the Energon one but still looked odd, and having his dino head as his feet.

The G1 Grimlock that everyone's horny over has "cone-feet" and his dino-upper-half just folds back as wings. The Classics mode makes use of a good transformation.

Now, let the flaming start, so I can start reporting...

I have to agree. Grimlock could have been way better, however he does have some redeeming qualities.

G1 Grimlock had big massive thick fit. that narrowed up onto the knees. and the head backpack is tolerable.

I just don't like C Grimm's face as feet.

They could have used the lower dino end becomes feet, technique, and head just swivels back or something, i would not have minded that.

However, for me Grimlock is tied as worse with Mirage (*runs off for cover*)

(peeks, out and starts explaining)
Mirage is too floppy, chest prevents head from posing right. legs are too floppy. feet just wont stay as feet. Gun falls off of car mode.

ohh and Why o why did the classics get a peg and hole system entirely different in size to that of previous lines. I have tons of Energon guns I'd like them to hold, but they just don't fit.

I honestly have no problems with any figs in the line, but if I had to pick one, it would be Megatron, only because of the color scheme.

The mold is great, the colors drive me up the wall.

I didn't like Mirage too, i just though he was too skinny. OMP Robot Masters Mirgae is the real Classics Mirage.

well grimlocks robot mode wasnt the best. would of been interesting if they made him transform like the g1 figure. i only have a few classics but i wish bumblebee had a weapon of sorts other then his jet pack thing, and i wish devastator had different construction vehicals then 3..

While I don't think all the classics mini-cons sucked, there's definitely some that weren't up to par.

The Demolition Team comes to mind. All three of them.

Im not a huge fan of Starscream, his mold is very nice, but the plastic looks cheap and nasty. Mirage is great, but my one has his head stuck, so he cannot be returned to car mode.

My least favourite figure is the Prime Magnus figure, They don't feel like Prime toys to me, I cant really explain why, but both figures I couldnt care less for. The Prime figure is the only Classics I have skipped intentionally, and I only have Magnus because he came packed with the beautiful Skywarp figure.
I dont like the alt mode, again I am not 100% sure why, but while the arm shields and the oversized weapons along with the paint scheme irk me, the general robot mode is decent enough.

no need to run for cover! you give an intelligent
response with your own logical explanations (basically
means your opinion)

rather than just say something that is not helpful
like, it sux, I hate it, blah blah blah

comments like yours help and are WELL appreciated!

1-Megatron Ridiculous butterfly wings ,and bad color scheme.

2-Astrotrain Robot mode is fine. Shuttle with train kibble. Shuttle train looks deformed by the back.

3- Hotrod his face could of been nicer. He has a frowning face like if he broke up with Arcee. He could of used a nicer set of legs too. Better arm articulation. Don't like his purple flame gun much but it makes an excellent rocket pack.

4- Grimlock his dino face as his feet constantly eating dirt particles from the floor. His shoulders don't lock up. Those tabs are as bad as the likes of Masterpiece Megatron's puny plastic tabs.

Grimlock, just cause of the shoulder problem.

The deluxe Optimus, for the lack of the telescoping legs to conceal his thighs.

Pistol Megatron, the wings and arm cannon throw off the weight a bit, plus the faggy orange caps on him. Why the targeting scope has orange is beyond me.

I cared for Astrotrain & Hot Rod the least. I like Grimlock. I'm just disapointed in the fact that his shoulders did not lock as the designers had obviously intended.

Hmm... gotta agree on the head point, but other than that I honestly don't have any of these problems... I musta just been lucky :P

At any rate, I'd have to say I'm not really disappointed with any of the classics line (not counting the minicons) but if I had to choose a least favourite... 2-pack Prime... lame gimmick, looks kinda bug-eyed, and the non-collapsing legs makes for a really bad truck mode... that doesn't mean I don't like it, but if I had to pick a least favourite...

I think the 2 pack Deluxe OP vs Meg
is perhaps the most underrated toys right now.

I think those guys are QUITE good!!!!!

the gimmick is not lame, but rather neat.

the 2 pack was pitiful, and mirage was worse than megatron on several levels.. but mainly, the entire toy.

why?

klinky feet, no posability, a very crappy head piece... and mirage's gun? heavens no!
grimlock atleast had some fun poses with his tail weapon, but the sholders in fact, do suck balls.

thanx for the reply, I should have specified, why is the
2 pack pitiful? I personally think they are SEVERELY
underrated.

Mirage I don't care for as well.

Astrotrain has some pretty lame looking vehicle modes, and his robot mode's kind of boring.

Grimlock, I like, but I agree with the problems, weird legs and messed up shoulders. His weapons aren't so great either.

Deluxe Megs & Prime are some of the worst figures there are.
