Ok, so we have the favorite Transformers Lines topic, so now it is time for the opposite! I can't think of any now, but tommorow I may.

Easily the worst IMO:

That bothers me to no end as well.

In that old episode of G1, with Sandstorm... my memory is foggy, but his planet ends up blowing up or something.

Then Rodimus Prime tells him:
'it's ok, Cybertron is a better planet anyways'

Wow, what great leadership skills Rodimus, I'm sure you really comforted the poor guy! You'd make Optimus proud, you moron... and people wonder why I hate Hot Rod/Rodimus so much...

"I don't have time to deal with that right now!" sort of forces itself into awesome territory after a while. So I can't say that one.

But for me, the worst line ever comes from the great and noble Optimus Prime... while he was... playing... basketball...?

"Spike! Am I drooling correctly?"

Although Prime later playing with a basketball while on monitor duty is one of the great surreal moments of G1.

Another bad line from the Headmasters Star dub is the first time Rodimus calls Spike by SPARKLE!

Rodimus: "What do you mean by that, Sparkle?"

Star Dub

Using parts of Soundwave Galvatron was able to rebuilt Soundwave into a robot called New Soundwave.

Seriously go watch the Star Dubs there funny as hell!

If I had remember that dismissive crack along with the one that made me loathe RoDIMus, I would've wrote the 3rd season writers/producers to either give the Maxtrix to Kup and Bumblebee have more screen time (and not necessary in that order). Here's my Rodimus is a twit quote:

Spike: "Great. What'll Daniel and I do when the air runs out?"
Rodimus Prime: "Basically you'll have two choices: suffocate, or smother."

Dark Awakening

Hey even the least screen time Autobots of the last 2 seasons behaved with more compassion towards each other and humans than this toad. IMO the 3rd season screenwriters just simply gave up making him likeable (Despite his botching up the M/P in the film, for me the '86 movie HR was likeable). Rodimus didn't have to be a Prime clone for me--all the TF catoon makers had to do to satsify me was stop putting in his mouth these flip comments that boarded on callous. When he accepted Jessica Morgan thanks about helping her walk, he sounded like he was reading flashcards someone else was holding up.

The infamous, "But Prime..." anytime Op gave an order. They're soldiers for chrissake. When a commander gives an order, the response is not "But sir..."
