Coz you dont want your friends to see you as a dult.

If you keep changing your name lil missy, how do you expect all the fine men of Seibertron to continue stalking you?

Answer me that Ms. Smartypants.

(For the record, I know I spent around $2,000 on Armada & Energon alone.)

If a small hiccup like this stops them from stalking me, then they're not worth... stalking me.

I only have about 40 figures at the moment, 6 of which were survivors of the garage sale wars during the 90's (I got into video games and I needed cash to buy games...stupid me).

A bunch! A couple hundred to be sure.

$ a Bunch more, I don't want to know how much I spent, cause it's going to be depressing.

I only collect G1 with a few excwptions; Unicron(all incarnations), Primus, Jetfire(Classix), 20th Ann OP, and a couple of Tits.

Also, I like KO's so about 1/3 are Ko's so they are cheaper. The rest are Re-issues, with a few Japanese exceptions like Roadfire ans Sonic Bomber.

I have 223 as of today. A year ago i was lucky enough to find a yardsale in the newspaper that was selling some, And when i got there the seller had no idea of any value or prices to sell them at so i scored 30 of them with all there pieces for only 20 bucks. Now thats a steal!

I keep anal records of my figures. I had about 210 a while ago, but sold a bit over half of them. I now have about 110 after going insane and buying movie figures like some kind of rabid fan.

I am in the process of building some Excel spreadsheets which anyone can use to track their stuff.

It will calculate total MSRP, what you paid, etc.

I can pass it along to any interested parties. It's not done yet, but should size up pretty well.

Since I was planning on building one myself I would love to see an easy prebuilt one. Save me the trouble of doing the calculations and so on.

I'm w/ you guys that don't even count. I'll be 32 at the end of the month and I still have every Transformer I've ever owned. Machine Wars came and went w/ out a figure bought but other than that I've picked up what I like from every line. Some loose some mint in box/on card. And I don't care to think of the $ spent. Hell the botcon tab last week was $270 prereg and $330 at the show. If I had to guess I'd say 750ish+/-.

My Collection grows in spurts, it'll stagnate for a while, then Australia will get in 20 figures in the space of 6 weeks or something!

Cybertron really fleshed out my collection, but I have since found that all the Cybertron figures I bought only makes up about 1/4-1/5 of my collection...

I have not counted since before the Classics were released, but back then I was close to 250, I'd say I would be in the vicinity of 300-320.

Not a huge collection, but more than big enough for the tiny amount of display space I have!

Geez...

Well, for me, I have 46 or so, and have spent...about $2,700 since 2004 (Been out of the game for a while)...

As a side note, I used to be obsessed with the number I had, then realized I was collecting TFs I did not like or care about. I call this my "Beast Wars Era" because I amassed well over 130 TFs, from G1, through BW. In the end, IMHO, the only TFs that I gave away that were worth keeping were Optimus Primal, Megatron, Unicron, and Optimal Optimus.

Yes, I gave THOSE away...I was moving and needed to downsize...but in my defense, I kept the God Ginrai re-issue, MP Prime, and BRAVE MAXIMUS!

Now, I just collect only what I like, be it G1 re-issues, WSTs, or MP TFs.

It is not about the others who collect, or their cash spent, or their numbers, it is about MY LOVE of the hobby, and some of the charachters in the mythos.

This can be done owning an awe-inspiring G1 collection like many fellow board members here, numbering in the THOUSANDS...or by owning just one beaten up, broken, incomplete TF you bought at a yard sale for next to nothing.

To be more exact, I see no point in comparing, because someone always will have more than you.

Anyway, here is my collection, not shown is my Alternator XK Ravage, who is quite awesome, BTW.

And yes, the first image is real. That is THREE G1 Scorponoks...I have a FOURTH one MIB, complete coming soon...damn you, eBay!!!

(I am selling all three, BTW)
