Catalyst Prime wrote:Wow, I didn't know there was a Sixshot character in Energon?!?!
I may just have to grit my teeth and watch energon again.
(The first time I tried watching it I only made it to episode 15 before I got fed up with it.)

Catalyst Prime wrote:Honestly Senator, your overview of the series you just gave is better than the series itself... In my opinion of course.
But I don't know about the "seemless" transition between Armada and Energon though, I watched all of Armada and when I got to Energon my initial reaction was "Wait, what the hell just happened?" Except for Demolisher which had sorta become an Autobot, everyone else had new modes, seemingly for no reason(Of course we all know the real reason was to sell more toys)but know storyline reason. Kicker is their but and the other kids are several years older and basically shoved into the background. And several characters that were around towards the end of Armada just dissappear entirely(or at least for as far as I watched) That and except for Perceptor(who also has a new form) the minicons have basically vanished as well,(this I may be wrong on, did Energon say what happened to them? It was 3 years ago that I watched, memory fuzzy)
I liked what I'd seen of Starscreams personality in Energon but I find his alt. mode horrid. I liked the Armada one much better.
Senator Ratbat wrote:Well I'm not saying the show is a masterpiece, far from it. I'm just saying I personally really enjoyed it. As for the seamless transition, it takes place 10 years after the end of Armada. The new alt modes aren't all that unbelievable, given the fact that they're Transformers and they can change form whenever they need or want to, and after 10 years of peace, I'd say boredom set in. There's also the factor of the 'Bots and 'Cons being scattered around on various planets, and you could say that they've adopted the colors and modes to better fit with their new environments
ceratoformers3 wrote:In general, Cybertron Shortround. Featured in no fiction, but my favorite. He's my first toy ya know. Character wise, Cybertron Armorhide. He was this comedian, there to entertain and give hope to people. And then the Decepticons vaporize Polyhex, leaving him bitter and sarcastic. Go Armorhide!
Psycho Warrior wrote:for this reason, that is why I like to be around Locust. fun stuff happens.
The Happy Locust wrote:Toy wise, the Cybertron versions of Megatron are awesome. Ever wanted to transform into the Batmobile? Well here's the next best thing.![]()
Character wise, tough call. Always felt for Cyclonus in both his standard and Snow-Cat varieties.

Energon in itself is a hard show to appreciate, due to certain elements that don't jive well with hardly any of the fans. In fact, I'd venture to say that I'm probably the only TransFan that ranks it in my top 3. T
And a lot of people consider Kicker to be an annoying character, but comparing him with some of the other TF humans, is he really that bad of a protagonist?
