In order, what would your top ten be for both Autobots and Decepticons that you would like to see in the next movie. (Excluding the ones that where already in this movie.)

For me:

Two words: Ultra Magnus

I thought about that, but I wouldn't want to see them make the huge mistake of trying to kill of Prime to make way for him again.

That is also why despite the fact that Rodimus Prime is my personal favorite character, I don't even want to touch the idea that they might use him. I will just settle for Hot Rod.

I could see hot rod as a replacement for jazz as a character with attitude.

ultra magnus could be a leader of some other autobots traveling space, but gets prime's signal and comes to earth to get the matrix from prime by fighting him. He could be seen as an enemy at first , but When or if Megatron becomes Galvatron and start insane destruction, magnus and Prime see no choice but to somehow combine into Omega prime to defeat him.
Considering what the writers left us at the end of the movie, you think this could happen?

I would take a lot of offense at a movie script where Ultra Magnus was anything but a loyal Autobot.

The Matrix was not passed by trial by combat. The old leader chooses the next. (And it seems whoever ends up touching it next is the leader regardless)

I am assuming we are not just talking about new characters but overall including returning characters. I don't see more then 6-10 per side anyhow with the rest being more like cameos or minor parts.

Why would they put BW Megatron, BW Scorponok, and Optimus Prime in a movie that has nothing to do with Beast Wars at all?

nice lineup but theres a rule of thumb between the autobots and decepticons that you HAVE to follow...example, if your going to have Devastator and the constructicons your going to have to have atleast the dinobots on the autobot side or a combiners group preferably superion

Autobots:

1. Skids. Yes, I know the day this happens, the devil will be figure skating. But Skids has never gotten good treatment... heck, almost NO treatment... in any version of Transformers. He's just be a fun character to boot. Hey, it's who I'd WANT in the movie, not who I think we'll see.
2. Jetfire. The Autobots need air support, and you have an opportunity to develop Starscream as well by introducing him.
3. Red Alert. With all the Autobots on Earth, someone has to coordinate their activities. Plus a very "by the book" Red would allow for some natural humor and/or tension with the others.
4. Prowl. He could maybe fill the same role as Red, but he could also make a good human liason. He'd mesh well with the rest of the cast.
5. The Twins. Can't have one without the other. They would put an interesting dynamic on the team, and the thought of the two of them, loose on Earth, is a fun one.
6. Wheeljack. Just because it would be fun.
7. Arcee. For some reason, I dig the idea of Sam and Bumblebee trading places, with Bumbles unable to talk to her.
8. Mirage. ILM could have a LOT of fun with his effects, plus he'd give a glimpse of what Cybertronian society used to be like.
9. Ultra Magnus. There are a lot of interesting story paths you could take with Magnus.
10. Omega Supreme. If you've gotta have the Constructicons, I like Omega matched up against them better. And here's a thought... Bay mentioned an aircraft carrier...

Decepticons:
1. Soundwave et al. You know this is going to happen.
2. Shockwave. Play up the logical side, and he's a worthy new "big bad".
3. Sixshot. I can hear the designers groaning already, but there's a nice big threat for you. Plus if you worked out his Headmasters storyline, it's a fairly deep 'Con character.
4. Swindle. Not the movie drone, the guy who makes Bobby Bolivia look like a saint. And, as fate would have it, there are some things he might want to salvage/sell...
5. Dead End. Who doesn't love a manic-depressive Decepticon?
6. The Terrorcons. They'd make no sense in the movie 'verse, but they'd be a blast to see on the big screen.
7. Thundercracker. Play up his doubt in the Decepticon cause, and he could be an interesting, multifaceted 'Con.
8. Combaticons. Hey, technically, Brawl wasn't in the movie... =p
9. Sunstorm. A crazed zealot chasing the Allspark? Could be easily turned to the 'Con cause.
10. Cy-Kill. Because, really, who wouldn't want to see Cy-Kill get his in the movie?

Probably won't happen, but I like the idea of having Prowl show up as a Autobot cop car too, especially if it turns out Barricade survived the first movie. I can picture a scene with barricade cornering Sam again, and another police car rolls up. Sam would say something along the lines as "Oh no, not another one...", then the camera would pan around the rear corner panel but this time it would say "To protect and serve" and then when it got to the door it would be an autobot decal. This would then cue a awesome fight scene between the two . Don't know if it should be another saleen mustange though. Should at least be a different custom mustang with different paint sceme, like a white and blue Shelby or Rouch Mustang. But if it could be a completely different model all together like a Dodge Charger Cop Car that be best I think. Like this one...

If they did Hot Rod, I think they should go with a Japanese Street Racer design. That is what he looks like the most in comparison to most vehichles. He is a futuristic sports car in the movie, (All the new characters took on a futuristic feel in the movies) And though I don't want to see that, I think that a Japanese car like you would see in Need for Speed Underground, movies like "The fast and the furious" would be best.

Not to mention, match his attitude.

omg that scene would be awesomeness but if prowl was a foose or roush mustang with this paint scheme.... except have a police shield on the hood with a autobot logo in the center.... and all the wording in english
