Your votes for the Best Movie Toy, so far...

Postby skywarp-2 » Thu Jun 07, 2007 2:22 pm

this is a hard category, but it should be the best transformer toy from this movie so far. I would have to say my pick is definitely for Optimus Prime Leader Class, with Deluxe BoneCrusher coming in a close run for second with Voyager Ironhide..

Why Optimus prime Leader class???

Great articulation, cool action features, very pose-able, good likeness barring the blockiness.. awesome color applications, perfect size..I mean this is just a nice piece all together, its not something that came from Takara Tomy or Japan, but for a Transformer to be produced by Hasbro, its a fine piece of work. the figure is massive and very heavy and makes the price seem worth it. though I purchased mine at Wal-mart for a cool $29.99.. so I'm very pleased!!!

Though I agree with you about Prime and Ironhide, my vote for best deluxe goes to Barricade.

yes Barricade almost became my second choice and Tie with Ironhide, but I was very happy with his deluxe incarnation and hope that a Voyager or a leader class is made someday.. Bonecrusher won out simply because he is such a unique transformer that I just couldn't put him down!! he was fascinating in design and the fact that he and optimus take that rumble on the Highway just makes him more of a favorite to me!!!

I'd have to say '08 Bumblebee. He looks the most like his movie incarnation, IMO.

I have to vote for robo-vision prime because he doesn't have any of electinic lights and sounds which I find I like less and less each time I transform a figure that has the gimick, Also he has to two guns unstead of the one gun welded to his hand.

Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

I cast my vote for Voyager Starscream.

Yes, you read that right. Voyager Starscream.

I bought Leader Megatron, who is a letdown in alt mode, but his robot mode has presence. Leader Prime is a very cool figure, but very underwhelming for me. Just kind of blah.

Anyway, I have all the figures from the movie line that I wanted, so I am done.

Unless they release a Leader Starscream. But dreams like this never come true for me, so Voyager SS will be fine.

I concede, for a deluxe, he has a killer alt mode, and awesome detailing.

But that "robot" mode is just a joke. An insult to Scorponok fans everywhere. They could have at least pretended that they cared...

Leader Prime and Ironhide are the best two. Everything else is a close second though.

Wreckage is excellent, even WITH the 'downward looking head', and Deluxe Jazz is amazingly poseable for such a stocky fig, so for the Deluxes it's a tossup for me between those two. And for the Real Gear toys, Longview is not only the best Real Gear, he's the best Basic PERIOD to come out in a very long time.

that gun can detach you know. it is a little annoying so i display mine with the unnattached gun. His two bottom cannons are still pretty nice and compact though, and I find it just looks overall better without that big hulky slide on cannon
