DavidT wrote:They probably didn't leave the trailer out cause they can no longer use 'Hot Rod' anymore. He's known as 'Rodimus' or 'Rodimus Prime' now... Having Rodimus without the trailer would probably make the figure to small or less desirable in the MP line and it may be hard for them to just sell a trailer byitself later on... there's still the possibility we will get a 2-in-1 with the MP Rodimus. They are releasing him with a trailer because that's what they decided would profit best for them.
They don't have removable fists or trigger crotch because like I said, these are modern day versions of G1 characters with modern day technology used in their designs. G1 toys were inferior in robot mode because they focused more on their Alt. modes... Now we are getting figures that are more accurate to their cartoon robot and Alt. modes, without sacrificing either form, hence MASTERPIECE... Obviously there was no way to incorporate Rodimus's trailer into his robot mode without severely stepping away from an accurate robot mode, so they did like the G1 toy, and there's nothing wrong with that.
We want them to be more accurate to the cartoon as much as possible, but sometimes they are probably gonna have to borrow designs from the G1 toy.

Aww man, I was hoping for a jumbo-sized Rodimus. But hey, guess they're finally keeping them in scale. I'm pretty sure Grimlock and Rodimus were about the same height in the cartoon. Most likely not.
