Yeah but Laser Prime was released at a time when people couldn't sit behind their computers and continuously complain about it for years and years.

Secondly, movie Prime is as he is, STOP WHINING.
This isn't G1, Prime doesn't NEED to be flameless, I and quite a few other people LIKE the flames so the designers would really be wasting money if they got rid of them. It would also make the cab look less realistic, most trucks like that have some sort of design and flames makes Prime fit in and look shiny (in both the dictionary sense of the word and the Firefly sense).
