No surprise. And I don't blame BBTS one bit.
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

I had one preordered, but only because I loved FoC and this was spot-on to how Omega looked in the game. That style, especially with his lankiness in the arms department and semi-funky alt-mode definitely isn't for everyone though.
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I am that which is, which was, and is yet to come.

Yep, just read that in my inbox. It's too bad but I can see why. It appears to be an exact replica of the WfC character model for Omega Supreme and Hasbro and/or High Moon could certainly pursue legal action if they chose to. BBTS, being based in the US, has to be a lot more careful about that kind of thing than other etailers.
As good as their cust service dept is, what a bunch of pu**ies...
I think this is probably more likely a case of BBTS not wanting to get stuck with a bunch of $350, 11lb, 3rd party figures that could have some serious QC issues (have these guys made anything else?). I mean, they still have various devies from Maketoy and TFC.
That too. But Im sure they could have ordered a small stock of say 25 to test the waters. Im personally going for the Hasbro version. This one looks like a big dumb ape. I dont play video games, so my knowledge of WFC/FOC is limited to the toy line. But I would love to see a guardian repaint of the Hasbro version from Takara.

That assumes you can order only 25 units. I doubt you could order so little.
BBTS shies away from things that are too close to Hasbro's stuff (although, for some reason, they seem to still favor Impossible Toys) so I'm guessing that's the primary reason for them rejecting this. Not that it was for me. I just can't get into the look.

LOL! Sometimes silluhettes are not the way to go, this looks awsome in full view.
Still not sold on it, however. Mainly because there's just too much coming out.

Looking a lot better than before, but at this point... for the price it's going for... I'll have to wait on reviews before I throw down that kind of cash.
Still, very very nice.

Agreed on this. Apparently Captured Prey is in talks to get these stateside, so we'll see what happens.

ok. yeah, that looks flippin' good. Still a bit pricey, but at least I can see where it went now.
assembling a Neo-G1/TF:TM cast. Please PM if you have (or know of) the following at a reasonable price: Classics or Henkei Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, or 3rd Party iGear Ratchet and Ironhide.
Also looking for Universe Repugnus and Overbite, Frostbite and Longhorn and any Webdiver toys.

Well this just went from "I can settle for the Year of the Snake repaint" to "Who really needs both kidneys?"
I'll get this one way or another, hope Captured Prey can secure a pre-order domestically.

After seeing this I think I'll pass up on the Energon repaint... no clue how I'll ever justify affording this though. It just doesn't have the playability of equally expensive items like Giant or the Stuntinots... especially since the alt-mode is boring as heck. If I owned it, it might get transformed once and that's that. He's massive and awesome and glowy though.
I want it... just not sure how bad yet.

I'm not interested in the WFC and FOC toy lines, but wouldn't mind getting this after a few reviews have come out. Not sure it is right for my Classics set and keep wondering if one with more of a Classics feel will be released later.
Maybe these guys will do a remold in the near future?

Goddammit!!! That actually looks pretty good. It's possible it still looks like crap from directly head on, but it's not too bad at all. I'd like the claw and blaster hands to be a little smaller. They look a little over the top as they are. Not a fan of the alt mode unless they've got some better pictures to fool me with. It's a stupid expensive first outing, but I have to admit I'm very tempted.

How about some reviews of a finished product? I'd rather someone else be a $300 guinea pig, and I hope some e-tailers would reconsider stocking the item after hearing positive things about it.

Hmm, if that claw is any indication of size he might be too big for my collection as I originally feared. I need something that'll make for an epic battle pose near Giant, not something that looks like it could bully Giant for his school milk money.

Yep, this guy's definitely not Classics scale. He's WfC scale, which means he's supposed to tower over the WfC/FoC toys, which he clearly will. I'm still tempted to get him, but I'll have to wait and see how it goes. I had him preordered on BBTS until they pulled the plug. If I can scrounge up the funds, I'll get him at one of the other etailers possibly. I hope these guys do a Trypticon too. That would be epic.

Hmm, a Trypticon... Now that is something I would have an easier time investing in at this size (or more by a small margin). Or any of the city-formers for that matter.
