Eh, I hope he doesn't. We've got few enough Autobots as is.

he's been seen on set my guess would be he has a smaller role.

It would be a shame for him to die too quickly, I see him as the Rhinox of the movie line & it would be good if him & Prime had a kinda of Primal/Rhinox frindship.

I doubt it. If you remember, Ratchet has always been one of those behind the scenes characters. Yea he likes to get to the frontlines but more often than not he's been back at headquarters patching up bots. I don't see him being featured a whole lot. Surgery may be important but boring in an adventure flick.
