If the Decepticons can have Scorponok and Ravage, then the Autobots should be able to have a recon/scout unit like those two.
Even if all he can do is just spy and gather intel, he'd be perfect. A little robot mouse, he doesn't even have to be able to transform.

I know the movie is not G1, but Ravage and Scorponok are G1 and Rattrap is BW.
IMHO adding someone like that would be silly.

If they have whellie they should have Blur, but poiting out that the other characters stem from G1 and not Beast Wars, many of the new cahracters are either from the comics or 2000's TV seriese. And why does Optimus have to Combine with Jetfire...

Scott Mcneil deserves a cameo appearance in this film, probably as a bystander being chased by the D-cons or something.
