Isnt this happening to fast with the toy line. I mean DOTM is still 7 months away but sometimes the products to the movie comes out before the movie.

I was just saying it looks like they are rushing things with DOTM this time I just hope it dosent suck and be a repeat of ROTF but the reason that flick was like it was cause it was done during the Writers Strike.

Also another thing I think it hurt it cause it had multiple writers as I think films are alot better when they just have one writer that way they one have fights over what should or shouldnt be in the film.

Also X-Men The 1st Class is due out this year before DOTM is but we have yet to see a trailer for the film. This is one of my top movies for 2011 DOTM and also Green Latern some of my favorites of all time. I just hope they due this prequel deal in the right direction I like the idea of the 1960's and I have always loved the Hellfire Club and Emma Frost they were awesome in Wolverine & The X-Men. I just hope they translate well on the big screen.

I am super excited for DOTM cause it is really dark and the Autobots will be either in hiding the entire time or getting their asses kicked by the Goverment and harassed by the General Public.

2011 is shaping up to be the best year ever from new movies such as DOTM & X-Men to new games such as Mass Effect 3, WFC 2, Batman 2 and the upcoming X-Men Destiny.

Also the return of Prime this Feb 2011 I told you all that it would return either middle of Feb or the end of Feb.

I just hope that Prime keeps on it the right track and dosent focus so much on the human element. But I enjoy these 3 kids they are cool heck even Miko dosent bother me.

Well 2011 will be awesome we will all be broke between these new movies and new games and will all be locked in our rooms for most of 2011.

Your looking into things to much. Anyways, its not like worrying about it going to change anything. The target date has been set and production is nearly over. Just enjoy what you've seen so far and hope for the best on July 11th.

I am just saying Im just worried cause the wheel seems to be turning really fast on DOTM from the upcoming Toy line, the novel for the film and other aspects of the film.

I do understand that the toys and novel are due out before the film but not this early these all must just be prototypes and they said the novel would be released right before the film.

I am just worried sense the wheel is turning so fast it is headed for a crash.

But sense DOTM had nothing to worry about like ROTF and Bay seems to know what he is doing this go around I have faith he will deliver but I am still worried.

I am a long time fan of Transformers one of the few originals who grew up with Transformers since its beginning.

2011 is a big deal for me being a transfan it is my 25th anniversary 25 years being with Transformers I was 5 years old when it began i just want the trilogy to end on a good note is all and I hope Prime continue's to go in the right direction.

I am one of the few who actually liked both Films while ROTF was dorky at times it was still an enjoyable film.

I just hope DOTM dosent focus so much on the comedic this go around this film needs to be really dark and I mean like Empire style were the Good Guys are hunted down and everyone has turned against them.

This DOTM still seems like "Megatron Master Plan" alot to me were the humans turned against them but later helped them.

I look forward to DOTM finally Shockwave on the Big Screen I cant wait to see him in action and his Alt.Mode Also will Ultramagnus be in it will the Red Ferrari be Hot Rod.

They are still a million unanswered questions concerning DOTM such who is that bearded robot is it Optimus father Sentinel Prime or is it Alpha Trion.

Only Time will tell.

Um, you do realize that there are a lot more than "a few" Transformers fans who watched from the beginning, right? We are not a small breed, my friend. We've just grown up (sort of) and have done our best to pass on our favorite childhood show and toy line to the next generation. What you do when you say or write something like the above line is begin the path down a very slippery slope into something so evil, so dark, I cannot even mention its name...

I'd say this has been a big deal for all of us. That's why we've been getting Classics, Universe Classics 2.0, Generations, and now Reveal the Shield. We are getting updates to the bricks we once played with as kids. Good times then, good times now.

I hope we get cool lines line in ROTF Give me Your Face I loved the new Prime we saw in ROTF him being more hardcore.

I hope he continues in DOTM this way I loved that Optimus way way diffrent from our 1980's Optimus or any Optimus from previous series.

He's the leader he is suppose to be bad-ass.

I hope Megatron dosent kick the bucket early on in the film I hope that is done either in the middle of the film or the end of the film.

He better not get killed by Humans either that would suck he should get done in either buy Optimus or Shockwave in an epic battle.

I want this film to be darker more emotion, more violentier less comedy but some comedy is still welcomed if done right.

2011 is going to be an awesome year from WFC 2 to Prime coming back and also DOTM and awesome toys & comics over the year.

I dont care if I am going to be 30 this year I will always do my transformers and my figures and comics to them once a transfan always a transfan regardless of my age.

Micheal Bay films are always enjoyable. DoTM might be a bit less light-hearted, but s**ts still gonna blow up. Don't worry, it will be fine!

Just out of curiosity, which Bad Boys film did you like more?

And, yeah, Bay knows what he's doing. I think he got the robot fights just right in RotF, as the technology and software he built upon and in some cases created became better and cheaper to apply. That makes be believe the bots will be even better in DotM.

One thing I wish Bay would do once the trilogy is finished is go back to the first film and use the updated software to add and change some scenes for the better. The four most obvious fixes that he could do are:

1) Show the fight as it was originally planned between Bee and Barricade.

2) Show Prime taking care of Barricade before getting to Mission City (the reason Prime was so far behind everyone else).

3) Instead of that little pop gun that just appears on Prime's back before exchanging shots with Megatron, have him pull out a rifle similar to what he uses in RotF, in the same way that he pulled the rifle out in the warehouse scene. At the very least, they can do that one for us.

4) While the angle and shots of Sam during the fight between Prime and Megatron worked for what they could do, that fight can now be reworked a bit and extended so we can actually see Prime and Megatron using their blades (we here them, but we don't see them).

Those changes are more than enough to get the movie back in theaters, as well as make me purchase another copy, which would easily pay the bills and then some. Other than that, if they could maybe elongate Prime's battle with The Fallen so he (The Fallen) doesn't look so weak at the end of RotF, that would be nice, too.

And for goodness sake, fix Brawl's name in all future reproductions of the first film!

My favorite Bay film is a toss up between Armageddon or Bad Boys 2 I loved Bad Boys 2 cause of the interstate scene and the scenes with the KKK and the Beginning were he got shot in the ass.

Wuusah he said and he banged his therapist and Lawerance took an X pill that was crazy.


Armageddon is still one of my all time favs one of Bruces top movies besides Die Hard.

I am ok on DOTM I know Bay will deliver escpically with the explosions and this time in 3D!!! OMG Bay action in friggin 3D.

I am not worried I am just worried that things seem to be rushing and a lot of info is getting leaked out.

But Bay dosent seem to care about that this time he just wants to finish this film so he can move on to his next projects which I hope will be Bad Boys 3.

I havent been disappointed with many of Bays films besides Pearl Harbor cause it focused to much on Love & Romance.

The Island was ok and so were his others he has a new one coming out 4 or something about 4 We Are 4 something like that saw the preview the other night.

I am excited to see what Bay has in store for us what kind of Combiners will he bring us be cool if we got Omega Supreme maybe he could be the Space Shuttle.

I know there is suppose to be a new Decipticon Combiner only Idea for that I have is Menoasaur or Bruticus.

A majority of screenplays have multiple writers working on them, especially action movies. It's pretty rare that a screenplay goes untouched. Christopher Nolan probably doesn't have anyone rewriting his movies. Clint Eastwood loved J. Michael Straczynski's Changeling so much, he shot the first draft.

Take the first Transformers movie as an example: John Rogers wrote the first draft and then Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman take Rogers' script and reworked it. Then Michael Bay had a group of comedians and writers to add extra jokes and punch up the script.

I do like Revenge of the Fallen but it's definitely not as strong as the first film. A part of me wished Orci & Kurtzman concentrated on Transformers 2... but then we wouldn't have the amazing Star Trek film so it isn't all that bad.
