My thoughts exactly. I've been debating reading the 1st trade I found at the book store.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:From that, I'm going to assume SkyBound is best suited to trades? Haven't picked up an issue yet. But if it is written for trade. Better to know now, before I jump in.

Since the DWJ run ended and Kirkman took over, I feel the issue is that this comic needs 2 issues per month and not 1, it makes Kirkman feel he needs to cram the issues more and jump around, where it could be streamlined with 2 per month.
I wasn't a bid fan of 25-30, but it has improved since then, again I think it was crammed/rushed due to lack of page space per month to run the stories.
Also, I saw someone mention this, but Megatron feels very different under Kirkman compared to DWJ. DWJ had a more Godfather like characterization, whereas Kirkman feels more unhinged.

I haven't been able to read the released trades yet, but I did browse through the 1st one recently, and I must say the art style was not appealing at all. I really want to get into the story, but how can I if I don't like what I'm looking at? I did hear that Thundercracker has become a part of Superion. Did he switch sides and become an Aerialbot?

I've been enjoying the TF stuff for the most part. It feels a bit slow though. Not enough substance and other parts of the "Energon Universe intrude a bit. This latest issue kinda felt this way.
Additionally, I dunno if you guys feel it appropriate to discuss other parts of the universe here, but I have been reading Void Rivals (generally excellent), G.I. Joe (middling at best), and now M.A.S.K. And issue 3 of MASK just puts me ill at ease with how much they're adding to the universe. Fine, ROM is appearing in Void Rivals, where he ought to fit well enough, but having Miles Mayhem being some kinda acolyte to Baron bloody Karza has the stink of IDW's Revolution misstep all over it. Fine, they are slowly building it up instead of throwing all the toys in together in a half-assed event and saying "this is the status quo," like IDW did, but still. They better not add another series to this universe when I am already considering dropping GI Joe.
