These are new molds based on the old toys, it has no impact on reissues

The molds are literally lost at sea, and the cost to retro-tool new molds isn't cost-effective.

That old chestnut. Make it affordable & it'll fly off the shelves, just like Dinobots did in the cartoon. Then release the G2 versions. Then the pre-Transformers version. It'll blow up the internet.

Looking forward to Grimlock, Ironhide, and the probable Ratchet! I said I was "all-in" on Missing Link but to be honest, I can't do the repaints. WAY too rich for my blood at that point. I was SEVERELY tempted by Nemesis Prime, but if he was re-released as just the cab section along with a gun, axe, and bad matrix instead of the trailer and all that comes with it, I'd be up for it.

He, she, they, whatever, so long as that colour scheme doesn't change I'll want one! I'm even tempted by that Nemesis Star Convoy they teased. I just want some form of nemesis prime/convoy for my collection.

What's wrong with the original head (plate)?

Normally, ML is all about just making the G1 toy as accurate as possible, but with poseability engineered in. But here, they change the look completely.

Still, my guess is that this Ironhide/Ratchet will have an extra part that you can either leave in the driver seat, or remove it like ML Optimus's Matrix chamber.
