I was able to pre-order him on Walmart.com for $35, just waiting for him to ship. They just delivered my Soundwave which was still priced at $55 when I ordered.

From what I've seen, Alpha Trion is at best a $20 figure.

I would say that is accurate. The prime changer was a much better toy

Every time I look at Alpha Trion I get this feel like he's a cross between Beast Hunter Lazerback and Titans Return Wolfwire/Weirdwolf.

Ironically the Prime toy in that comparison is much more posable.

But he is a good bit like weirdwolf actually

Finished up my work on a custom Studio Series Demolishor! Hoping we have an official one on the way some day, I think it'd be a great option for the MTMTE line.

Frankly, the fact that they have not done the easy repaint is bizarre. Yours looks great though!

You'd think with all the repaints Target gets they would have done this guy instead of a straight reissue of Overload.

Thanks! Yeah, I almost wonder if they’re trying to hold off and do an in-scale one, but Titan scale is already booked out through 2029.

You'd think. Realistically, there are so many SS Construction repaints that could easily be exclusives, with the end goal of a 2nd full repaint Devastator.

Think about it, we already got Rampage/Skipjack. Scavenger can be done as Demolishor. Long Haul can be Payload. Hightower has precedent to be green and called Hook. Mixmaster, Overload, Scrapper, and Scrapmetal really have nothing going for them repaint wise, but you can get creative with colors, plus we have multiple other Constructicon names they could take if you wanted as well.

It is also a personal dream of mine to have a 2nd use of each so I can have the combined Devastator alongside individuals.

Retool Mixmaster into his alternate-headed version and name him after Quickmix.

Redeco Overload in purple and name him after Frontloader.

Redeco Scrapper in red and name him after Buckethead.

Redeco Scrapmetal (here's the fun one) in an all new blue and red deco with the name "Rumble" in honor of Cybertron Scrapmetal's Japanese name (and as a fun mockery of the FIRRIB/RIRFIB debate by giving him both colors). ;)

Thanks to user nune on TFW2005, we have our first look at the packaging and additional stock photos for Studio Series’ first Titan class figure, Age of Extinction Grimlock! It will reportedly be available on March 10, 2026.

IMG_9091.png

IMG_9092.png

The figure is notably mistransformed in these images, with the feet spikes being in opposite configurations for robot and dino modes, the knees not being transformed for robot mode, and absent teeth on the robot mode dinosaur heads

That's insane. I remember the SS figure was already so big it barely fit into the box. Will the Titan be considered in-scale with the new AoE SS Prime?

And will we finally get the rest of the movie Dinobots, Titan or not?

I’m not sure if it’s exactly 1:1 with the CG models but it is meant to be in scale, there’s a post on Grimlock’s Dino mode that plugs into the SS AOE/TLK Prime mold to recreate the Dinobot charge scene!

And we have confirmation that they are finally doing the other AOE Dinobots, the most recent info we have is that they are all Titan class and will be releasing one per year, they’re already working on the next one for 2027.
