no batteries are best for someone wanting to keep MISB. I have pulled battery operated toys out my attic to be dripping with battery acid inside after many years of lying about.

I didn't even hesitate, I pre-ordered one yesterday.

I never thought in a million years we'd see this one re-issued.
Really looking forward to this.

I would venture to say, if you really want Sky-Lynx, pre-order him now or you may end up regretting it later.

I'm still in somewhat disbelief that Sky-Lynx is getting a re-release! AWESOME!!

Skylynx,OmegaSupreme,Typticon,Galvatron,Shockwave never came with batteries. You got to buy them. The Galvatron reissue requires two AAA batteries.

While i was always a fan of him from the TV shows, (take that predaking!) I can't see myself parting with that much money for him. As a toy he doesn't impress me, even though he is accurate to his anime version. Just not really a complicated thing... the cat part on the bottom its just a block rectangle that comes off and sprouts legs.

I want to want this, but I can't force myself too, and the price doesn't help much. :sad:

The price isn't that bad. I remember on ebay a vintage Skylynx in box going for over 3 times as much. This reissue is sweet. Cause it's affordable and brand new. Sure beats paying a scalper for an over price vintage any day. That's why I've waited this long. :grin:
