I think the only repurposing I've done is having ROTF Lockdown stand in as IDW/G1 Lockdown, though he's a given since they share the same body design with some minor differences.

Got a few, although as everything heads back to storage a lot of my re-purposements are going to be forgottn for the moment.

Also, to me, a "repurpose" is adapting a figure that is a comepleteyl unrelated character to be another characer without modification, thus I leave off ROTF Bludgeon as Bludgeon or this or that Optimus Prime from my list.

ROTF EVAC as a Generations Rescue Bot Blades. (Or for that matter, Blades of any kind) (As this was an intentional homage, whether this counts as a repurposing is a bit up in the air, but I include it specifcialyl because he;s being paired up with a specific sub group.

DOTM Rescue Ratchet (the red guy) as Rescue Bots Heatwave. Hawaii uses hummers for off-road rescue, and relaistically, a lot of the places that Heatwave has driven to are not places I'd want to go in a full-size pumper truck, Kade even complained about his suspension once I think, so nyah!

RID Prowl as Chase... becuase I was desperate and don't like the Hatchback alt mode for Chase's lean Muscle car..

Universe Bonecrusher as Boulder, see my current Kitbash thread though as I do some touch up work to bette cement the roll.

Universe Swerve (The repaint of Armada Blurr) is going to b Overdrive (car, check. flying car, check) the Omnibot after originally being deliberated as Powered Buggy to an RID Magnus

Ans speaking of, Despite looking absolutely nothing like a Powered Buggy, FoC Sideswipe is now the PB stunt-double for a very large and very unposable auto carrier. A Deputy to the Enforcer, if you will.

Cybertron Armorhide is joining his Botcon repaint as Pipes to the orange Huffer.

Armada Grindor is now palling around with a Generations Jazz, because Jazz missed his action-master skateboard.

I've only been waiting for beast Hunters Blip since the day they announced him, and for only $15 he just showed up two days ago on my doorstep from Singapore.

Energon Command Ravage linked up with my Prime SOundwave, GD Laserbeak, United Rumble andFrenzy, and OTF Ravage to serve as Howlback. And I really want a Shadow Hawk Cosmic to be Garboil, but I don't want to know what kind of prices he goes for and for that it's probably not worht it.

Planned but as I don't have them yet:

The yellow Torso: Chainclaw
the Green dude: Firecons Sizzle

The combiner torso? Monstructor.

The only gap filling I have is with third party combiners. Classics and Masterpiece are still going strong so it looks as though both lines will get filled up eventually. Older toys don't satisfy my needs and I'm not interested in obscure characters.

totally agree with your thoughts on the definition of "repurposing" and like what you've done there, esp with the Cyberverse dudes

I am currently using Dark of the Moon Human Alliance Basic Half Track as my Classics Beachcomber!

He is a cool little buggy, nicely coloured and great articulation which meets my requirements for a good repurpose, although I would like him upscaled to Deluxe.

Since DoTM Leader Sentinel doesn't have a gun of his own, 1 resembling the 1 from the movie anyway, I gave him the red cannon that comes with the Walmart exclusive deluxe Optimus. Fits pretty well.

Im liking the use of Energon Ravage and Divebomb repurposed as Pounce and Wingspan.
I may pick up the Command Ravage as he seems to reflect the deco a little better? :-?

As I still do not own the Titan which is Metroplex, I have decided to repurpose Deluxe scale Alternity Nemesis Prime as my Classics Scamper! :shock:

Beast Wars Transmetals Waspinator = Waspinator possessed by Starscream
Beast Machines T-Wrecks = Beast Wars Shattered Glass Megatron
Beast Wars characters (B-Boom, Snarl) = Beast Wars II characters (Apache, Tasmanian Kid) instead.
Robots In Disguise characters = Car Robots characters instead. (Trying to keep everything G1)

Megatron/Galvatron died at the end of the Cybertron cartoon.
