Hi,
If you have it, is it worth getting?
A friend has a MISB Revoltech Prime and a loose JP powermaster w/apex reissue for 50 or 60 bux. I'm on the fence.
Oooh, I'm a minibot now!

I am not sure although he looks cool enough and I have ordered him and should recieve him in about 2 weeks time once I have him I should be able to tell you what I think on whether or not he is worth buying.

I didn't buy prime or magnus because I didn't like the look of those tiny windows on their chests, but I've got Megatron pre-ordered.
As long as you like the look of him I'd say he's probably worth getting. Great articulation.

he's a great fig, but a little small for what i was expecting. I do like him though, its one of the better optimus prime figures i have seen. It's not really worth 60.00 though, maybe 20.00. Ultra magnus, though an exclusive, is worth 40.00 but not any higher. If they were larger, say Marvel legends size, then yeah.. but they are way too small for what i thought they should be. Still, great sculpts and great articulation.

Revoltech Convoy is great as an action figure. IF you dont like the looks leave alone. Personally, I think the looks give him a more dynamic look.

A tell-tale sign of a well designed action figure is one that can stand on leg without outside support...
Revoltech Convoy is one of these figures.

I'll agree with this. I have Magnus, and while he's a cool figure he really isn't worth the price. He's smaller than a deluxe but more expensive than a Voyager. BBTS had him listed at 6" tall when he really only barely breaks 4 1/2". Those extra couple of inches would have really made him better in my mind.

I got revoltech Convoy earlier this week, and I gotta tell ya, I paid about $30 (canadian) for this sucker and I'd say he's worth every penny.

I'm not super impressed with either Prime or Magnus. I hope Megatron is better...

I wish I could see one irl. I wish I knew of a good dealer in the Boston area. I wish I was a baller. I wish I was a little bit taller. I wish, nvm.

They are nice looking figures, although the plastic is a bit weak. I like the design. I owned both Prime and Magnus, but I returned them to BBTS. I was not satisfied with how small they are. They are not six inches, more like 4 1/2" as mentioned above. That was just too small for them to have a place in my collection.
I paid $25 for Prime and $30 for Magnus. Don't pay more than that, they are not worth it.
p.s. - You do know they don't transform, right? Just checking.

Yes I know they don't transform. However, i did not know they were that small. I was under the 6 inch impression as well. At 4 and a shade, they would definately be out of place in my collection as well. Thats just a little bigger than the 3 inch titaniums which appeared on my shelf for a week and then permanently disapeared as they looked soout of place.
Well, thanks for all the opinions. It looks like I will be passing on these due to the size.

Actually you're in luck. I posted a thread right after the board wipe and it still has my pics with the comparison in it.

Thanks Muffin. That pic with screamer is really helpful. I'm definately gonna pass. Move over Revoltech Magnus, come on in titanium Magnus!
