$70 for Rodimus? If one of the retailers I use decided to charge 6 times RRP for an item I think I'd boycott.

Supply and demand. Besides, it's not like Rodimus is a retail item anymore. It's a four year figure which I definitely think falls under "vintage". That makes MSRP useless and puts it all in the hands of market forces. I'd rather pay $70 and get it from RK than $60 from an eBay seller. The premium for good customer service is often worth it.

Well, there's supply and demand, and then there's downright price-gouging. Just because they can charge that much doesn't mean they should. But that's business I suppose. People are just dumb enough to continue supporting insane prices by purchasing them anyway. Same reason scalpers are so abundant, people are just too impatient/lazy to shop around for a reasonable price.

If these were eBay items I wouldn't call it a problem but when you're running a business that relies on repeat custom I just think it's taking advantage of your customers and doesn't exactly make them feel valued. That's how I'd feel anyway.
