Okay, listen please. He doesn't combine, and he's a Voyager. This is the non-combining toy Hasbro is releasing. The nicer detailed toys with individual robot modes cannot combine. The are making a seperate box set of all six that cam combine, but they are more simplistic and have no individual robot modes. So if you want it all you will be spending the money on Devastator TWICE. It blows chuncks, but it's the truth.

Exactly. No one reads anyone else's posts anymore I believe :D I've got the Voyager version in my possesion and there is just no concievable way for it to combine, no extra port for connection, SCVNGR is not printed on the side, no extra clips, ect. WYSIWYG, you either have to get the set for combined Devestator, or the individuals for robots with alt modes and no Devestator the end. Would have been nice if they combined but it isn't going to happen unless someone kitbashes the individuals. :(

I doubt this is the last time this will be explained either. We've known this for how long now? Since Toyfare. Some of it can be contributed to video reviewers who relayed mis-info and the Today show or something like that. THANKS A LOT HODA

I don't know if this has been brought up yet, but does anyone else think it looks like those treads are almost completely flexible???
Not totally flimsy, obviously it needs to be able to support the weight of the rest of the figure, but potentially can be worked into a circular shape???

Alright. Just noticed antoher thing after watching the teaser for the 8,336th time (it rocks...what am i supposed to do??)

Demolishor is in China. Evidence is the street signs on the overpass.

Evidence suggests the Constructicons land in Egypt (the six protoforms crashing in the desert).

Odds are Demolishor does NOT make the trek from China to Egypt. I will continue to hold a belief that Demolishor is different than the one in the combiner.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Did you ever consider that the trailer may not have shown every protoform crashing to Earth? There could've been some that crashed in China who turn out to be the C-cons.

Or, perhaps they aren't together at first and crash in separte parts of the world, and then come together later to form Devastator later in the film.

Oh, I'm not goign to rule it out. I'm just looking at what we have right now to go on and trying to tie some of the ends together. There is a real possibility that this "tight knit community" Dems puts together turns out to be our Constructicons. I'm just pointing out that Dems first shows up in China, which we all have been shown is the opening sequence (or at least towards the beginning of ROTF. In addition, the toy at Toy Fare seemed to have been labeled Scavenger. As a result I got a bit confused and I'm just trying to sort things out to my own satisfaction. I welcome any discussion on the matter. I'm simply putting forth my own hypothesis...

Well, Let'sa not forget that this is not the first time Hasbro ahs given two names to two toys of the same character. It's happened several times in the past.

Seriously? I'm not trying to be an ass about anything but it was mentioned a couple months ago, we've seen the pics, I have the Voyager and the "SCVNGR" one that does combine is pretty much the SAME thing, same machine, same function. The individuals aren't going to combine. We are going to have to buy two sets of toys to get the "Devestator experience" we all want. It sucks but it juujst the way it's gonna be looks like.

Unless, and this is a very, very big MAYBE, the "hush hush big ticket" deluxe item still not known WAS a seventh Constructicon. Then and only then would there be a way for them to combine because on the Voyager, which would be the torso, the framework and parts just arent there to form Devestator. That would be the only way I can see it happening outside of a custom job someone whips up.

That said, I'm sure of myself and what I know to be true but maybe we'll get some more info so we can all be sure of what is what. If I am wrong then so be it, it won't kill me

Wow you people really hold yourselves in high regard. Not everyone who goes here reads every post of every news article so get used to it.

Also, last I heard (unless there have been posts quelling this rumor) there were going to be seven Constructicons. Maybe only six of them (the small community that Scavanger has collected) combine while Scavanger stays separate?

Why would Scavenger stay separate when it's the Scavenger toy that forms the Devastator torso and has no robot mode, and the non-combining Demolishor toy is the one with the bio about this?

Thats nice that you overpaid for a toy that will be out in a couple months.

Like I said We'll just have to see in june whose wrong or right.

I'm probably wrong and it's not a big deal, like I said i just dont see why they wouldn't paint the same character the same way for its initial release. It just makes no sense to me.

If my name was mark, i wouldnt want robert tattoed on me, i would want my own name. Odd analogy, but you get the idea.

For one thing, it could be a prototype. We won't know if the final product will have the word "SCVNGR" printed on its side until June.

Who says I overpaid? I paid retail plus shipping, all I ever pay for it, some odd few a little bit more than others  I'm not into the pre-release figures for sake of owning it first or doing dumb videos, I've got a son who wants them. So I get them and get to see them for about a week, they they disappear with him usually  A few I get extra of if I really like them, I'm not into the movie guys that much anyways.

Far as the "SCVNGR" debacle, 1. It's Hasbro and that is really all the reason in the world. Who knows what goes on there or why they do the crazy things they do?

2. I'd say the primary reason is to be able to ell them apart, I couldn't at first. If thee is indeed a Scaenger I will be the fist one to say I was wrong, you're right it isn't a big deal. Won't be the first or last time I've been wrong.

So if anything I wrote offended or bothered anyone, or made me seem uppity, that wasn't my intention at all. I follow this news and stuff closely and I've got an inside track of sorts.

Demolisher, that is the final release figure for him, there are multiple boxed versions available from a couple of sellers, I got mine loose to save a few bucks on shipping :D

I'm really glad. I am doing my best to find my camera, been MIA for 2 months now, and I'll take detailed pics to show what I'm talking about. I'd like to show everyone what I mean at least, the framework on it is just so bare there isn't much possiblity for combination. I hate it just as bad as the next guy we got stuck with what we got but at least you guys dont have to get two sets like I will.
