My 5 y/o complained about that annoying toy that makes all the noise! Theres a point at which a toy can make noise to annoy your parents, and then theres the toy that makes noise for no apparent reason and even annoys YOU (you being the kid annoying your parents...).

And yeah you're probably right, my son probably isn't as interested in movie accuracy, but I am! Ok I'm not a kid... But my arguments aren't flawed, they just don't fall into a single category, I said that "for the money it has such limited appeal".

But I agree with you, some parents will just look at the expensive TF toy and buy it because it must be good right? A toy THAT big has got to have something going for it! Like I said, it's all about how much money you can hemorrhage without going broke..
