Is there any news on a n ROTF Voyager class Jetfire? He's my favorite character of all time and i want to get him, but the leader class figure is a piece of trash with a cheesy scottish accent. thanks

Sorry young whipper snapper, a Voyager sized Jetfire is as likely as a Generation One Arcee toy. The Leader does everything Hasbro wanted it to, selling it at the Voyager class is a bit odd.

hmm. i'd consider getting it but its so crappy. i don't get any leaders, i think they're overrated. i'll keep my fingers crossed for voyager class

What's crappy about him? I'd say he's one of the top figures from ROTF, and if you don't like the voice feature pull the batteries. If your passing on Leader class figures then you're missing out on one of the greatest TF's of all time, ROTF Leader OP.

Agreed. Especially when you put the fact that he can combine with Leader/Buster Prime.

You're certainly entitled to your own opinion, but I think the general concensus would disagree.

Wrong. Leader Prime is one of the best TF molds of all time. Plus you have Mindwipe already to compare him too?

The leader class may had a very annoying transformation(things always pop out).But its not a piece of trash.I would actually say that is one of the best rotf toys.Awesome huge alt mode and very nice and accurate(with the movie) robot mode.If he is your fave character i would say that is a must in your collection.
Voyager is my favorite size also but do not hope for a voyager jetfire.I dont see it happening.

Whoa! Hang on a sec... decepticonblitz, did you just wiggle your nose and hope Hasbro would change the formula to an already successful figure? You really need some shred of proof the said figure exists before making posts like this. This is one of the many ways rumors get started.

i'm not trying to start a rumor, i just don't spend all day online looking for news so i was asking an honest question. i would say there's a good chance of a voyager class though, because 1) he was one of the most popular movie characters 2) hasbro is always looking for ways to suck money out of us 3)with all the sub lines in the rotf line(nest global alliance and power core combiners and whatever else, i'm hoping jetfire factors in somehow.

if that doesn't happen i guess i'll go for the leader class

As we're drawing closer to the end of the line, we've pretty much seen all of the sculpts for the larger size classes (Voyager and up). The NEST line, like any other half-way rebranding, will be mostly repaints and the occasional new mold. So the chances for a Voyager sized Jetfire is practically nil.

Besides, think of it this way: a Voyager Jetfire would have to combine with Voyager Optimus Prime, but since Prime was a repaint...

Leader Jetfire is a great figure, everyone loves it, and they can't keep it on the shelves. They're not going to make a smaller one just to make you happy.

Seriously, dude? I agree-Leader Prime is completely amazing. However, to say that this person is "Wrong" might be a little intense.

Intense maybe, correct definitely.

Put it like this. Optimus Prime had to fit in with the CGI of a figure that was supposed to be real-like and real-size. They basically had to shrink something that huge into a Leader Class figure. Bludgeon and Mindwipe were based of something that the creators had in mind. Nothing concrete - Nothing that actually appeared in the movie..

Well, by telling him he's wrong is not fact, it's YOUR opinion. You're entitled to think and feel that he's wrong, you are not entitled to tell him how you feel as though it is fact.

I understand your passion for the LC Optimus figure, it is one of the best TF figures I've ever seen, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. If he doesn't like it, he doesn't have to, and you've no damned right to tell him otherwise, or slam his opinion.

I'd tell you to be ashamed of yourself, but I realize that's a waste of time.

And basing the humor on a skit that hasn't been seen (or been funny) since the '80s... kinda puts us at a disadvantage, and puts you on the spot.

No news that Ive heard of in regards to a Voyager Jetfire. Though I was thinking if they did one, maybe it could be a young(er) Jetfire, ya know Behold the glory that "was" Jetfire.

I'd prefer a smaller version of Jetfire. The Lader-class... come on. He's got almost his entire robot body hanging off the jet as kibble! Not to mention I found him pretty flimsy in jet mode, to boot.

Robot mode's not bad, but the jet mode is just... ugh.

Whatever Voyager Class Jetfire will be like, I expect the Leader Class to be better..

Umm... there WON'T be a Voyager Class Jetfire, so it kinda stands to reason the existing Leader Class is better.
