Now this may just be speculation, but they give a lot of good evidence on this issue.

They make a good case and I would certianly welcome a MP Mirage. I still think a bigger sized MP is coming soon though.

I really don't car who they release as long as we eventually get an MP Bumblebee, V2 Megs.

I'd like a MP Mirage, but at the same time, I feel Classics Mirage fills the spot in my neo-G1 collection pretty well.

I was hoping for Megatron, but I suspect the speculation may be accurate after reviewing the evidence. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

But only ONE of those cartoons was posted before the ANNOUNCEMENT, the others were posted before the well-known-and-publicised-RELEASE.

There pattern has been to release an Autobot mold (and repaints) followed by a Decepticon (and repaints), apart from the cassettes.

I'd like MP Mirage.

How many repaints/remoulds could they get out of Mirage I wonder?

If that's the case, it'd probably either be Megatron or a second V2 Seeker.

Just the red Diaclone one and possibly an invisible one. If they're bold, maybe that neon green and hot pink G2 deco will be considered :lol:

Despite the "sponsorship licensing" issue, TakaraTomy may actually be able to pull it off without paying an extra dime. Not only are most of them removed in the cartoon, the large Citanes is actually a typo of Gitanes, a cigarette company.

Sadly MP Bumblebee will never happen because Volkswagen wants nothing to do with anything war related.

Dragstrip! Though we are yet to see Breakdown from Sideswipe, so I doubt it.

I know it is not in their best interest to say, but I wish Hasbro\Takara would just come out and give an official statement on this. Like "Hey characters X, Y, and Z probably won't happen ever as a MP because of whatever reason.

I'd like to know if I should have to hunt down for a Quakewave because an official will never see the light of day. I prefer not buying 3rd party MP's if I don't have to.

I wonder if some fan at a panel could get them to comment on it? Would it have to be Takara rather than Hasbro that can answer these questions?

Wow if it is true then it means that the current paradigm has just been thrown out the window and all bets are off. Up until now it looked like they were going from most remoulds to least remoulds as if they were building a case for single use moulds. If this is true then it means that the line is doing so well that the design team has free reign to bring out anyone they choose, which would mean that anyone, including combiner teams, are now quite possibly on the table.

I suppose that seeing as they appear to be selling well at the higher price point then more profit is coming in allowing the designers to indulge themselves a bit and maybe Mirage can be created without any license issues as the car can simply be a generic racer.

An MP Mirage sounds good. He was a likeable character on the show (well, all the Autobots were.)

Kind of makes me wish even more now that I had a Sideswipe & a Red Alert, too.

I don't quite get them. I could maybe see the reason behind it if we were talking about Decepticons, but the Autobots are noble and heroic. (Especially a small friendly guy like Bumblebee, who may have held a gun in maybe 4 episodes.)
Besides, I'm not sure people would make the connection between robot toys and car manufacturers in a way that they would have to worry about their public image. Go figure.

I think the whole VW problem was an issue 10 years ago with Binaltech/Altenators. MP Sideswipe is of course a Lamborghini, which of course is owned by VW/VAG.

Then were's my Classics RiD Scourge from the G2 Laser Prime? That one's so simple its pathetic, and yet the only way to get it is as a club exclusive. Hasbro combs over alot of "quick and easies"

Albeit a rumor. It definitely raised my eyebrows at first glance of the title on the board. I'd LOVE a Mirage MP.

Just buy Quakewave before the prices go up. If Takara ever make MP Shockwave it won't be as good as Quakewave but will cost the same or more. Seriously: Quakewave makes MP Soundwave (and to a lesser degree, all MPs) feel like a cheap, flimsy KO.
