Well, there was something sector 7 site, rumor about TF 2 with the dinobots, that would kick ass..., but just a rumor. There was something about it on Youtube too, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4hrFl2nbjA kinda the same thing we know, but it shows vids from fans at the end by sector 7, don't know if this is old news...

2 years? Wow...they make TF2 in haste. That means the movie will be slighty decreased in quality (CG and plot) than TF1. As we all know, movies with quick production time always gone bad.
That's all, except the production team has made a quarter or a half of TF2 when its prequel was shown to public in the end of June 2007.

Yay! A year and a half free of piss poor TF movies! 2009 just can't come slowly enough for me, roll on Transformers Animated and lets hope its so good they scrap the movies in favor of full length animated movie. Who's with me? No one I expect but that's my opinion on the matter.

Still, there's more, MUCH more (sorry, I had to) to the franchise than a brainless teen comedy riddled with product placement and the usual Bay stereotyping/not-so-subtle-pro-Americanism.

Wow, you guys are already complaining about how bad the sequel will be. I guess that one's going to bomb too, right? Animated will be bad for all the reasons you say the movie was bad so don't get your hopes up.
I can't wait for the sequel(s) but I want them to take as long as they need to make them as amazing as the first. Long live the movie saga!

See the only way a decent movie could be released by 2009 is if some aspects of it are already complete, like script, (test) CGI etc...

That's not official video, just some bonus content they stuck on the Sector Seven site.
It has nothing to do with TF2. I think it's safe to say that they have barely started making the movie, it would be impossible for them to have already post renders, especially of that Grimlock on the S7 site which is clearly just a 3D model of his G1 incarnation.

WAAAAY TOO EARLY! their not even in pre-production :S a script hasn't been done either, am i the only one who thinks its unlikely? Unless they've been keeping it well under wraps it seems unlikely it will be in 2009 or at the very end of the year.
