Why does anybody gotta play Mikaela ???

If they are going to axe Megan Fox then just axe her character too. Lets be honest all she is good for is eye candy anyways. I propose a better idea:

At the beginning of the film make reference to the break up between Sam and Mikaela. Then as the plot thickens, introduce a new girl for Sam to be with by the end of the movie.

And rather then using some hollywood bimbo, why not recruit one of the beautiful WWE divas to play that part. They all know how to act, do stunts and have great personalities. How about Kelly Kelly, Gail Kim or Eve Torres ???

You know I really never got why all the smite against Megan. I thought she did fine in the first, the only other real mainstream movie she did post Transformers was Jennifers Body, a b-rate horror flick done by a director that used to be a stripper, and everyone was "She's got to bring her A-GAME! THIS FILM shall be the one to let us know if she be worthy to act"....better yet everyone and their mother is willing to oversee every little thing thats wrong with ROTF, and we know the writing was crap, the bloody writers said so....yet when it comes to Megans character everyone is up in arms.

Hahaha, I just find it amusing. Anyways I agree with Cruiser, and I think I stated they just need to drop the character all together. I think the producers are running high on a recast wave with the success of Iron Man 2, not noting the chemistry wasn't broken between Downey Jr and Gwenneth, which carries alot of the film. That and good directing too. However they're breaking a chemestry built through two film and already founded....I mean good or bad as this three-qual may be at this point a transformers film doesn't feel like a transformers film without Megan.

Looking at the potential replacements...I'm not seeing it. they either look too old to play besides Shia or too young to replace Megans character. Jeepers, they kept the twins, and dropped Megan Fox...what else is suppose to be coming out in 2011? Captain America right? And Thor? Yeah that should save my sumer movie experience

Personally I dislike when they change out actors for continuing roles.

It worked in Iron Man, only because Terrance Howard just would not have worked as War Machine with that silly high pitched voice of his.

To be honest, the whole love subplot breaks my brain. It's not so much that Hollywood seems to think every movie needs a romance. It's not so much that Mikaela was dull and difficult, no matter how hot she was it's more that...a high-schooler befriends a bunch of giant alien transforming robots, becomes the most important link between them and the human race and has one of them living in his garage...but his biggest concerns are keeping his girlfriend happy and attending college.

I know that the human brain is amazing at converting the absurd to the mundane but he risks life and limb to save a powerful alien artifact from a murderous robot...and then just a little later he's trying to awkwardly juggle a long distance relationship.

my wife said she read on Yahoo that they are writing her out completely... But it doesn't really matter to me i think the movies are horrible. the transformers feel like balls of scrap metal to me more than robots, in fact i have not even seen the second one nor have bought any of the movie figures i wished they would have been more inspired by the original cartoon. Thank god for animated, MP and fansproject over these past couple of years. I am excited about the generations line except that poo thrust. Sorry to ramble the movie line is a sore spot for me.

Be it her or anyone else, they will find some other hot girl to fill the role and pretend no one notices.

OR they might go to extensive lengths explaining why she looks different and Sam has emotional issues over her physical changes and if he likes her more/less than he did before.

It's not as if Bay would honestly spend a nano-second of more time on the dang robots or anything.

if this is true which i dont belive as of yet new female should have differnt name so there is no confusion to poeple who watch this movie and littel kids especially what was megan fox doing on the set with bumblebee in first place moral supprot for the new female leading actress?

this will eaither be biggest curveball bay has thrown at us when he stated before megatron will not return in the second release, skids & mudflap will not return in the 3 film when we clearly saw there new colors or this ends being true :-?

Personally, I had no problem with Megan Fox in the TF movies. I hated Simmons in the first but ROTF made him likeable whereas the reverse was true for the parents regrettably, because they were great in the first.

Would have liked to see Rachel Taylor and Anthony Anderson back. Anderson was frikki' hilarious.

No, the only cast member of either movie that I HATE is bloody Leo. Get rid of him!!!

On the subject of Iron Man, I was glad they replaced Terrence Howard. I didn't like him at all.

I would have no problem with Gemma Atherton. I liked her in Bond and Titans. She also has that great "keep your eyes off me " line in the Persia Trailer.

But yes, GET RID OF LEO!!!! HE's HORRIBLE!

I'll admit, I laughed at Anderson's character a couple of times, but his character was 100% useless. He didn't bring anything to the movie that Rachael Taylor II's character couldn't do. Whenever I watch the movie now I just skip over the overly long chatty bit that introduces his character.

I agree with you on Simmons though, I liked him much more in this film than the last.

This is just BS. Why would Megan Fox be on the set of a movie that she doesn't star in? This is just bogus.

Btw about The Dark Knight, the worst thing in that movie is Maggie Gyllenhaal, what an ugly old looking girl with no facial expression. Katie Holmes should've been brought back.

Sam&Mikaela relationship issues take too much time, honestly it turns TF into how i met your mother. So why not removing her?
