I would prefer a Grimlock dino-mode to be more inline with the correct T-Rex configuration.

i'm sure the robot mode won't suffer much from this "improvement".

I hope the robot mode will be perfect, and the original transform-design doesn't need that much improvement, just a lot of posability.

Unless you live in Australia or miss out buying him for a year you won't be paying $200. The rumor is Y13,000 which is equal to $130 USD. That is most likely the suggested retail price, which is always inflated. He will most likely retail for $110.

The Alternity line is not so appealing to me because of the scale.

A little more or 50% more? MP Prime originally sold for $95 and he was mostly die-cast.

I expect quite an uproar if this ends up being an all plastic $150 toy...

And he'd better be MP Prime "Holy crap! That's awesome!" good, not MP Starscream/Megatron "Oh... well, the engineering is quite impressive, I guess" disappointing.

I, for one, will like to at least see a photo of this MP Grimlock, before joining this frenzy of pre-ordering.

Considering $110~$150 is not that cheap.
