For me it was the following.(Almost shedded tears at all these moments)
1)Ironhide:Caught me off guard,he was betrayed, then rusted up so there wouldn't be any sort of body for a funeral or rememberence.
2)Que:Sad music and being gunned down by Decepticons...Not a good mix.(By the way, after seeing the movie twice I figured out Que was not killed by Soundwave but actually a drone who was behind him.Que was trying to reason with soundwave and was then shot by the drone.)
3)Bumblebee About to die:Sure i dont care much for BB anyways but when he looked down at sam and you could hear Soundwaves gun ready to fire...Really thought Soundwave was gonna pull the trigger...
4)Optimus after losing arm:As I watched this,I started flashbacking to Revenge of the Fallen when megs finished off prime in the woods. But the thought of your mentor,a second father if you will, stand above you crippled body, ready to sink his blade into the back of your robotic skull,it was hard for me not to think that Megs would save the day at this moment

The saddest for me was the scene where Bumblebee and Sam had the goodbye. I've never dropped one tear in cinema before that. Not even during ROTF when Optimus was killed by Megatron.

Re: Sad moments
I was surprised that some of the scenes got me a little emotional since there wasn't a whole lot of character development in the movies besides THE main characters. The scenes that I felt emotional was:
1. The near death execution of Bumblebee. I am one of the few that would have loved to see him die. Don't get me wrong, I love Bumblebee in general, but they set up the scene so well and didn't go all the way with it.
2. Que/Q's death was pretty sad, but I didn't care a whole lot since he didn't do much in this movie. What made it flow nicely was the background music.
3. Ironhide's death was random and unexpected. It is sad to see one of Cybertron's greatest warriors go out like that.

Re: Sad moments
It was sad at the end of ROTF that the autobots won, again...it would've been better if they'd lost and made DOTM way more dramatic. So, of course, with DOTM bein the last Bay movie...did the 'cons have any chance of winning...no way. Would've been better if BB had died too.

Re: Sad moments
Well, I wasn't really emotionally stirred up...will probably be more taken with it while watching the film on DVD. Watching it at the cinema just didn't get me that much. But there were a few scenes that I found sad...sort of...as much as I could relate to the bots:
1. Sentinel's betrayal...especially from Optimus' point...after all he was his mentor...
2. Ironhide's death...I mean come on, he's a warrior...if he really had to go then it could've at least be in battle and not by two cheap shots he wasn't prepared for. He absolutely did not deserve to go out like that.
3. The whole Autobot goodbye and shuttle explosion scenes complete with the score.
4. Q's death and Bumblebee's near-death...I mean I actually knew the plot beforehand and I knew he was going to make it but seeing him like that, looking at Sam while the poor kid's desperately trying to do something to save Bee. I knew Bee would make it out alive, still left me at the edge of my seat.
5. Megatron's death: not really sad...just too random...

One more thing I was kinda sad was that Sentinel DID betray the Autobots. I was actually hoping that he'd really be a good guy.
Instead, he made a darn good villain. Or should I say "Bad", because he was the baddest baddie of the Trilogy IMO.

Re: Sad moments
It's been a while since a movie has gotten me choked up (LOTR anyone?) and a little bit of ST09 but anyways I knew pretty much the entire plot having read the book and the comic adaptation beforehand and I was STILL taken aback on the edge of my seat a few times. In no particular order:
1. Ironhide's death w/ Sentinel Prime's betrayal
2. Washington DC scene when Optimus is pleading with Sentinel
3. Sam and Bumblebee saying good-bye
4. Watching the shuttle explode and Sam's reaction
5. Watching Chicago get destroyed
6. The execution scene- music, emotion, etc. (especially when Soundwave forces Bumblebee to his knees and you see him look at Sam)
