I just found out that lugnuts or shockwave isn't there the purple lines on the cyclopsbot is also on bw soI thing blitzwing is two headed! I rest my case(hope not already stated)

Damn it. Just when I was starting to like how the Autobots look, they go ahead and turn Starscream's head into a dildo and bastardize the movie Megs design.

actually, this is just his cybertron mode and it isn't movie megs he has a humanoid mouth! I find screamer and blitzwing being the cooliest of the cons and starscream looks like a g1/g2-mixed with a bit of armada. I wonder what optimus's cybertronian mode looks like

Meh, I like that Blitzwing still has his tank cannon poking up behind his back.

The Decepticons like like a bunch of Black Hole Army CO rejects(Fron the Advance Wars videogame series).

Don't really like these but they look better than the Autobots, that's for sure - I'll wait and see the show before I bag it all too much.

Many people didnt say this but blitzwings got a spit personality so mabey thats his smart head. Scince hey said his head changes due to the personality he is in.

I really want that bumblebee and starscream. but I still think that lugnut on there or who ever he is, is apart on blitzwing if not he is still cool!

Just because it's aimed at kids doesn't mean it doesn't have to completely suck! They have enough of this terrible style already, why do they have to deface Transformers, too? Hasn't it been through enough already!?!? And toys aren't ONLY for children. They have Transformers toys that are made pretty much for kids, then they have the stuff that teen/adult collectors get. I mean, not all the toys are suitable for little kids.

G1 was also for children, but it is still enjoyable for adults. Hell, I'm 22 and I like it. I just don't see why they have to make these beloved characters look goofy and misproportioned and....sorry, rant again. This show can have terrific stories (which I doubt, but still) and all I'll be able to do is hate the designs with a passion. Perhaps I will give it a chance, see if they take it in the least bit seriously...but I am going into it with very low expectations.

Actually my problem isn't that it's not Anime. (In fact I could care less about that.)

I just personally (<- keyword) don't think that the Teen Titans style of art works well with robots. Especially when they look this outlandish. It looks like an animated Power Rangers ripoff. It looks like humans in suits (at least Prime) and the rest look like Zords on Acid.

But hey, if you enjoy it, again I say (and I cannot stress this enough...) more power to you. Why is it so important that I and many others who think like me...must like it?

Aren't we entitled to a different opinion?

I bet it's the younger folks on here that's digging the new designs. I didn't exactly object to this style when I was a teen. Now, with my advanced age :-P

They're not. They're using character names and designs which have been established by previous series - exactly like every series since Beast Wars has done. Optimus as a big red truck, with a nemesis called Megatron, is hardly a concept that's exclusive to one particular series' story.
