DECEPTICON ONSLAUGHT

Movie Origin: Onslaught was one of Megatron's top generals in the Decepticon army. A brilliant field general, and top strategist, Onslaught was one of the first to follow Megatron from Cybertron to Earth, and arrived circa 1943, in the middle of World War II. Taking the guise of an anti-air military vehicle, Onslaught had hoped to use his military guise to locate his lost leader. Subsequently destroyed after taking heavy damage in combat, Onslaught never was able to locate Megatron on Earth.

Weaponry: Despite being a field general, Onslaught is armed to the teeth. In Alt Mode, he carries twin mortar cannons on his truck bed. In his robot mode (along with the mortar cannons), his tank tread wheels double as mini-gun chambers. Every 'wheel' is capable of firing 2000 minigun rounds in 30 seconds. When one 'wheel' is exhausted, it shifts to the back and allows for another 'wheel' to come to the forefront. Strangely, Onslaught does not carry any sort of weapon.

I kinda went to Onslaught's G1 roots a bit. He was an old destroyed military vehicle, so I thought that part tied in well for 'Movie Onslaught'. I started with the vehicle and worked the robot out from there, trying to picture how it would transform into a robot.

Here's my movie version Prowl. I was sorta inspired by Robocop 2. Specifically the scene where there trying to find a replacement Robocop. One of 'em had strobe lights on his shoulders. I though that would be such a cool visual.
Prowl's a Chrysler 300. I wanted a more traditional four door police car. I was going to use a Crown Vic or Impala, but the 300 just looks cooler. the orange engine block weapon is a salute to the 300's Mopar heritage.
This is also a rare example of my weak ability to color. I know how to do the basics. I have no idea how to use all the fancy features like gleaming metal or glares from lights and stuff like that. But with this being a police car, all the bits that make it such would not stand out in black in white. So here it is colored. I went with blue because Barricade was black and white. Besides it fits in better with all the other brighter colors of the Autobots.

Ok guys here is my submission for Movie Sunstreaker.

As you can see i've based his alt-mode on the Ferrari F430 because i felt it was a good modern day version of his G1 form. Infact i tried to stay quite close to G1 yet i gave him the organic/mechanical style of the movie and i feel that he looks comfortable among the other Autobots from the movie.

I've always seen Sunstreaker to be a really fast and sharp shooting Autobot, i imagine him running into battle with all guns blazing but managing to defend himself at the same time.

I can also assure you that the design is technically correct, i spent many hours figuring how he transforms, so all the parts are in all the right places.

Thanks and good luck everyone!

Nah sorry, I used to have DA page but i just really HATE that site. I find it hard to use and really slow. I'm in the middle of making my own website for my stuff and but i comes second to my university work at the moment.

Thanks for the good feedback though.

Charger426, i love your Prowl. The chest section is really cool. He looks mean though, maybe Prowl will turn to the dark side!

Cool looks great. I'm really into WWII stuff and I love the fact he's an old military vehicle. I'd like to see a squad of old military Transformers. If I remember right someone did. :-?

Finally some love for Wheelie!
I love the way the Helmet becomes the head. How does the transformation work? Does he combine with the rider like how UM combines with his trailer?

Still need to colour it and it is a bit of a deviation from my original idea-i had planned Sixshot, but after reviwing him i decided to go for something similar but different.

So here is Movie Blitzwing, I still need to paint him, but i reckon for a sketch he is pretty nifty!

Hmm, pretty good i like his overall upper torso design but his legs look too small and bird like and look like they might snap. Maybe if you bulked em up a bit it would look better. Im not a fan of that animalistic type of leg and foot design anyway, i dont know what the official term for it is. Is it anthropomorphic or something like that?
