I just got notifications for both Ryan's and Mindmaster's posts, but none for any other topic that had new posts posted around the same time (such as this post).

You have to visit the topic again in order for it to start triggering email notifications for you.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it was working for about a day and stopped. I got one or two notices today and have since missed two or three

I got this, I knew about notifications stopping so I went back to the threads I needed to. I got updates from them today but it stopped around 10:55 EST

They were set to once per each visit. I've changed that now. Is that a new setting? I was going to say it seems that I was only getting notifications if I responded again to a thread, ie. post every time I got an email, but now lets see what happens with these new settings.

OK I fixed the problem, I think. The settings have to be yes for forums and once per visit for threads so you don't end up with like 8 emails for one thread in a day.

I have an odd PM issue: my control panel insists I have 1 new message but there absolutely isn't one in the inbox. I thought it was being caused by a couple of old, orphaned messages from no-longer-existing accounts, but I've now deleted them and it's still there. Tried all the usual stuff, log in/out, delete all cookies etc. Still there.

Has anyone else had something similar, or am I just special?
