Seige/Earthrise Astrotrain Tender/Platform

So I got Siege Astrotrain yesterday. When I unfold his tender into the crawler/launch platform, it doesn’t lay flat. It sticks up on both ends, especially the end with his “slippers”. Does anyone know what to do to make it lay flat?

Knock the pins out and do a loooot of shaving and filing on the inner edges of the black hinges. I did that and managed to get mine lying more-or-less flat.
I also reported the problem to Hasbro, and told them what I'd had to do to make my product perform as intended.
