Selling Transformers Collection
- Weapon: Twin Sonic Cannons
I have recently decided to sell my Transformers Collection that consists of over 200 figures, minus the ones i will not part with. My collection spans from what is technically generation 2 through cybertron series. my main question is should i sell my collection as a big lot or break them up by pairs or series. im torn at how to do this. keep in mind these will be up on ebay and i have seen collections go high and low. input would greatly help.

Keeping in a big lot usually appeals to some collectors while selling separately appeals to most collectors as they'll already have some or most of the ones you listed. Shipping still comes out to a lot either way you do it but that's really for the customer to pay. It really depends on how quickly you're wanting to sale them versus how much money you're looking to make. Selling separate you could make a lot of cash but it may take some time, selling as a lot you may not make as much cash but it will be faster most of the time as a huge lot is gone at a time rather than a single figure.
What I'd do is separate them in smaller lots i.e. G2 Decepticons, G2 Autobots etc. You could even make lots for teams like "G2 Constructicons" and "G2 Dinobots", that type of thing. Make sure you take pictures to show off each set, offer buy now or best offer if you're looking to make good money and still sale quick and also offer a decent shipping price, what you think or know it will cost per set, offer tracking and confirmation and also put insurance on ALL lots you're selling so the buyer feels safe as those are sure to be pretty valuable collections.
Take the time for each lot to list any and all flaws or things that may stand out, tell which Bots are complete and which are missing items/parts and list what the missing items are in each lot, if any.
That's about all I got.
Another Tip: Presentation Counts.

TFs for trade, let me know if you have any of the ones I want or if you're interested in the ones I have.

Sell them individually. You always get more that way.
