Back to Dragon Ball, here's my collection so far. I hadn't watched the whole series until I got the Blurays (AMAZING set by the way), I haven't watched all the movies yet, none of GT yet, and I dont own the original DB yet. I don't really have much interest in the original besides getting some more context, and I was hoping for a Bluray upgrade but I dunno if that'll ever happen.

Don't you also get the variants of MPs.

The takara bee has better instructions and no paint in the eyes.

Takara prime has light grey plastic and paint on the feet.

I wasn't aware of such figure variances.... you got pics to prove this?

I do have 2 Bees. One bought from overseas, the other from local TRU. There are slight variances in the packaging (mostly in warnings and trademarks), but I didn't open the TRU one.

Alrighty.... the one MPM-3 came from TRU, so that's Hasbro obviously. My other one, I ASSUME is Hasbro Asia. But where the hell am I supposed to find the proper Takara one? Is it even out?

Throw in Minimus Ambus, and it's a no-brainer for best UM! ;)^

I do enjoy the CW version quite a bit -- I prefer him over the G1 original, too.

Although that one had its charm as a suit of armor for the original albino Optimus.

Sure, G1 Ultra Magnus could not split and move his legs independently, but he had shoulder cannons and a gun -- not to mention SUPER ROBO-EXTEND PUNCH capabilities.

And bodrock, CW Ultra Magnus is a lot of fun and feels like the G1 more than the MP does. Maybe I'll pick up Citizen Stack of I want an MP style Magnus again.
