I figure the only randoms I'ma buy for a while a deals, and I mean nothing more than stupid crazy good deals, and things that are just impossible to find. Like if I finally find a FP Diaclone Grimlock, I'll pounce. Damn elusive bastard 8-}

Friday the 13th, complete Bluray collection.

Damn.... just damn. Retail price for this set was almost 200 CAD when it came out a few years ago and I was all "pfff no way, it'll come down or something". It didn't, then it disappeared. I researched and it was kind of a miracle that it was even released in the first place due to all the fact that the rights of the movies are all over the place. And there's no hint of a rerelease. And aftermarket has slapped it with that delightful new term OOP (out of print). Now, this set is a steal for less than 400 :SICK:

Then there was my HLJ and TFCC packages!

The latest LG's, MP+ Sideswipe, Diadudes, Botcon 2016 Boxed Set, Blastcharge, another set of Waruders, and another Depthcharge. Those last two... I bought purely because they were so cheap and why not :lol:

More on my new adult journey....

That new haul, I haven't opened anything yet... and I'm not sure I'm gonna. I'm surrounded by literal piles of toys with nowhere to display them. And now with all the plans I have, I'm thinking in order to keep things simpler that I'll just leave them that way. I mean unless it's something that I really gotta open (like Big Powered when he shows up). Maybe I'll even be inspired to get some proper toy sorting done :-?

Not to imply I'm not excited by the new hauls, but most of them are just new versions of ones I already got.

Sweet hauls, Shaj! I was really tempted to order-up LG Misfire, but in the end went with the Hasbruh's version. I think Takara's is clearly superior though.

I still impulse-buy, but mainly on vintage figures. I did impulse-buy the TR Arcee from TRU, though -- $20 sounded good and I liked the packaging. Leinad looks good as Arcee's head, but my go-to will remain Generations...no, LG.....no, Combiner Hunter Arcee! If I had her Prime incarnation(s) and that Platinum edition of her, I think I'd have just about all her official releases.

But yeah, most of my collection is in the attic or cupboards, only to come out when a meme hits me. I imagine someday I'll sort through what I got and only keep my favorite go-to's....but I know that I love collecting things. I'm not sure what it is, as I know that money can only buy fleeting happiness; it must be the addiction of being able to spend as little as $10 (or up to $250!) for a piece of nostalgic joy.

And if seeing my bots continues to brings me joy, I will keep on collecting. :RUBSIGN:

Yeah I do! I remember now, the only one I was missing was the Platinum 5 Pack Arcee, but I got that now too. Kills me though, one of the nicest boxes for a TF ever, and Kingston chews a corner out of it :roll:

20 bucks for TRcee is pretty nifty though. Easily worth that ;)^

See, and this is why, even with all these new plans of mine, I'm not quitting. The TF's are still giving me the feels, so I'ma continue. And I think once I get a more suitable place and can do some proper displays, my enjoyment will on increase.

It sounds like you're kind of headed down the same path I've taken. I'm trying to trim down chasing everything I think I want.
I'm still down for main line while it's hot and available. I've become more choosey with everything else like MPs, vintage, even Diaclone. I love them but I just don't need them all.

It's cool to keep the ball rolling, but at our age it also super cool to have things like, new carpet, a new kitchen, or a finished basement.

The funny thing about that haul is I got about half of that just before you did: I got a MP-12, a Botcon 2015, and a Depthcharge! It's like looking at a mirror :lol:

This has been one supremely sh!!!y week >:oP

The weeks pre and post Christmas at work are so !@#$ing stressful that's enough to make me quit my job entirely. It was a nightmare, every day being almost 13 hours. On top of that, Tuesday night through rush hour traffic on my way to the vet for dog meds, I wrecked my car. I was car number 3 in a 3 car rear ending and mine was the worst looking somehow. She drove home just fine though, and to work the nest morning. Work was so nuts though that I couldn't even get out of there to take care of my car stuff. And when I was able to get out, car wouldn't start. Thursday I was able to tend to car stuff, and thankfully my boss offered me a company truck. So at least there's that.

The real kicker though? All them plans of mine, I put away a little over 3K this month thanks to some OT and a yearly bonus... literally every dollar of that will be going towards this car s#!t.... FML... one step forward two steps back...
