I am super excited for him too. The Brawls molds are a disappointment, but hey at least they have new and awesome heads!

But for some reason I find it endearing, and want it because he's SO different from Takara's which makes him unique.D-Maximus_Primal wrote:and the head that does not fit Computron on that mold, nor do I really want a straight repaint of Streetwise nor do I want the Superion head again considering I already have it twice. I'd love the arms and Scrounge, but the Takara one is so much better.
I hear ya there. This is the most diverse combiner we're getting with only Afterburner being anywhere similar. Makes for some interesting choices for sure! I'd love to get the Hasbro Strafe and Scrounge for standalones though.
shajaki wrote:I used to only worry about my figures looking the part. But when all these 3P combiners started coming out, there was almost nothing official to compare them to. And after handling countless CW/UW figures, they're simple AND look the part. Even with upgrades they're a fraction of the price, and most importantly: STILL FUN!D-Maximus_Primal wrote:But either way, I do not want Quantron as he is so much and having watched 3P reviews, they are just too fiddly and complicated for my taste!
Oh yes, they really are! The fact that I can swap limbs between combiners so quickly and easily is fun, as is the transformation! I mentioned that BC Prime has become one of my favorite transformers in my collection, and he is so simple to transform but he looks the part so well, and he can combine should I ever want him to!
shajaki wrote:Ugh... I know. And I thought I'd be saving a little bit of money by skipping most of Hasbro's TR in favor of Takara's, but then they have to go and have completely different headsD-Maximus_Primal wrote:And yes, adulting is hardI really shouldn't have bought Galvs and Wheelie with Comp coming this month, and I plan to buy the deluxes and titanmasters on sight since I plan to make a trip on Tuesday maybe. I needs money and less adult!
the fact that there are so many different heads is just... wow. makes it difficult depending on which version you like. I like Hardhead with a mouth, but I don't mind the faceplate so I will get that one. Brainstorm to me needs his faceplate, same with Cerebros, so I like the hasbro versions again there, instead of the faceplateless Fortress and Brainstorm.
So. Many. Possibilities.
