I know, they were all in one lot. Awesome to get so many in one shot, but lame to only get so many in one shotD-Maximus_Prime wrote:Awe, one combaticon shy of the full team. Nice find though!
Ain't my first Groove, I got the UWfensor. And granted I didn't play much with my UW Groove, but I don't remember him being such a pain in the ass! The legs fitting together for bike mode was damn near impossible.Bumblebee21 wrote:How you liking groove
shajaki wrote:I want all my toys to be new, right out of the box, only handled by me. When it comes to my G1 collection, anything that's been reissued is what'll be on my shelf. And I thought, no matter how much it cost, that I'd buy the rest of the non-reissued figures still originally sealed and tear them open. Crazy right?
The Heartbreaker is Onslaught. I've been watching, and even loose that bugger is rare. So opening mine feels like it'd be criminal.
I'm the same way Shaj. In fact, the only LOOSE figure I've ever purchased that wasn't new in package/on card was the Generations Drift I bought from Ironhidensh!!Burn wrote:Crazy? No. We all have our different collecting habits. I couldn't even comprehend trying to do that though. In fact I'm probably the opposite. While I do have a number of reissues in my G1 collection, I prefer the original releases for the simple fact, I had to search that little bit harder and be patient a little bit longer to get it.shajaki wrote:I want all my toys to be new, right out of the box, only handled by me. Gotta agree with Burn, carefully cut them out of the bubble on the back side and then you can put them back with the cards facing forward!!Burn wrote:I still vote for busting them open. Free the plastic!

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
Huh. Interesting. Believe me, I LOVE the hunt. I'll buy anything I can off a shelf over online shopping if I can, but that pretty much only leaves brand new domestic figures.Burn wrote:While I do have a number of reissues in my G1 collection, I prefer the original releases for the simple fact, I had to search that little bit harder and be patient a little bit longer to get it.
Can't do it. Because while looking sealed, I'll always know they aren'titscramtastic wrote:Gotta agree with Burn, carefully cut them out of the bubble on the back side and then you can put them back with the cards facing forward!!
Now THAT, is the golden question. I can almost garauntee I'd enjoy them more opened. But they're so nice. S'why I'm thinking about buying a second loose set, and not buying anymore MOSC's.carytheone wrote:How would you enjoy them the most?
I never buy anything with the intent of selling it. But that's not to say I could never part with my things. I fell out of love with my comics, and honestly I'd sell 80% of them right now if it was easy and the price was even slightly decent.carytheone wrote:Will you ever sell them?
The idea of it being an "investment" doesn't even enter into it. And with the comics, I got enough stuff I can hock if I need toCobotron wrote:I've never bought anything as an "investment", but it seems like these guys could be that. They could be that little bank roll that you save for an emergency.
Quite a bit actually! It's really odd. He feels kinda plain, but premium. It's hard to describe. The first MP14 is more colorful, but 14+ just FEELS nicer.joeprime276 wrote:Hey Shajaki, how are you enjoying that MP+ Alert? I still can't decide between the original and that one. Let me know what you think!

shajaki wrote:I stayed out of this when it was all speculation, but now I'ma weigh in. His torso looks like its formed by 6 BILLION moving parts. That's terifying. His legs look hella clean. His emblem looks like it's tampo'd and not a sticker! But it also looks like its the "toon" version... not sure how I feel about that. And because of the jacked up movie death pieces, I might have to buy two of these buggers.
shajaki wrote:It might surprise you to hear this, but I'm right there with you Cobs. I've always loved the extra bits of red on the arms and legs. And I honestly didn't notice the flat grey until it was mentioned. I would gladly welcome a MP36XCobotron wrote:I'd really prefer a more toy accurate version with more red. Like on the inside of his arms and calves. The contrast of the silver and the red is such a defining look for Megatron for me.
Also not feeling it at all. I was annoyed with Shockwave having no tampo's, but at least we were given the option. If that toon insignia is in fact tampo'd on, that'd be a shame.Cobotron wrote:And ya, the cartoon insignias are not doing it for me.![]()

What do you think, my Canadian brother from another mother?

MP36; noob question. What is the difference between cartoon insignias and not?
Let me help. The cartoon insignias look like they were drawn by a retarded blind giraffe.carytheone wrote:MP36; noob question. What is the difference between cartoon insignias and not?
