I won't be picking up Omega either. Not from lack of wanting, but there is just no way I could ever justify the price, which will be at least 400 I bet.

It makes me sad, because Hasbro titans feel too much like toys for me. I couldn't disagree more about devy fitting in with MPs. I wish I didnt, because it's a far cheaper option than any 3rd party devs.

On the happy side of things, TFCon in Chicago this weekend embraces the 3rd party market (as all fans should, competition ALWAYS equals a consumer win) and they have been showing off so much upcoming awesomness, my wallet tried to run away.

I know how you feel about Devs, And I understand. For me though, I think he fits because of the simplistic cartoon look the MP line is going. Combined, he almost fits. Combined with upgrades, he fits the bill. Separately, no way would they fit in an MP display unfortunately.

And I LOVE the TW Devs, but the aesthetic doesn't fit for me which is a damn shame.

I agree on both your points Shaj, I'm a funny and Devy as a whole/combined verges on MP. He is just so intricate. Each bot by itself however barely passes as current voyagers.

Would an actual MP Devy have MP level bots or more simplified? Base this question purely on design aesthetics of current MP. Don't use scale or cost, just pure design.

Tough answer. I'm afraid, based on current trends, they would go simpler. The cartoon design for these guys was super simple.

I agree. I think we see a few things improved and a bit bigger, but overall not a huge change.

I'll add more food for thought. MP Star Saber, I don't own him; but are his pieces equally or less intricate/complex than the whole thing combined.

Let's compare as close to apples to apples. Compare any of the MP hands to Devy's. We might get a movable thumb or a movable pointy finger. I wouldn't expect a fully posable hand.

Or apples to oranges because I know I'm about to compare a normal limb to that of a combiner limb. Are any of the MP limbs as intricate as CW Devy's?

Now unfortunately price and size are part of the real conversation here. Honestly to me, CW Devy is a masterpiece. I say that days after I order an upgrade kit, so take my nonsense with a grain of salt. I'm just trying to get the Sunday juices flowing into an interesting convo.

MMC and FansToys REALLY got my attention from TFCon!!

I'm so close to ordering an X-TB Andras and waiting for X-TB Eligos and FT Sovereign. I just don't see Takara doing those guys any time soon!!

Yes FT's Unicronies are awesome. But patience young grasshopper, we'll get official MP's of them some day. I am freakishly tempted by their Cyclonus though.

Seems that way. I felt pretty meh about it. I do like all the guns and that it comes with 4 blade helicopter guy and white shuttle guy.

I am kinda interested in the lady Megatron set though.
