Bittersweet isn't it? I always have an feeling of sorrow when I finish a game. It's like I've turned my back on old friends that I've experienced so much with. Once the game is turned off and shelved, all their lives cease to exist or matter. But at the same time I feel compelled to finish the game.shajaki wrote:The journey is over
Love games with "new game +" or end game content.

Chronotrigger anyone?

That's actually how I've felt regarding the Pacman games I finished up years ago.
At Christmas, I really need to remember to bring the PS2 back to my apartment to have some fun!

I feel the gaming bug again. S'just a shame that my hands were crippled from my over-Zelda'ing
I started and put a few hours into Pokemon Let's Go.... I don't love it
And the PS Classic has hit. What a stinker!! There is nothing worthwhile on that thing besides FF7 and MGS. Talk about wasted potential

I've been back on the gaming teet a lot myself lately. Bummer about the old hands, that's a deal breaker. You could give the PSVR a shot as some games use the Move controllers.shajaki wrote:I feel the gaming bug again. S'just a shame that my hands were crippled from my over-Zelda'ing

I smelled a rat when the announced the PSC and only 5 of the games, the other red flag was the not dual shock controller. They missed an opportunity by not allowing adding games via the PSN. I have read its basically hacked wide open and should be running all sorts of things soon. I've been considering running the hacks on my NESC SNESC.
Speaking of games, have you seen anything on Cyberpunk 2077? That **** looks amazing, so amazing it inspired me finally fire up Deus Ex: Mankind Divided for a future augmented upgraded exploration fix. I really enjoyed the first and I'm really enjoying this one.

So I’m kinda back. I’m in the middle of my gaming/healing break (funny/not funny
) but haven’t *really* caught up on all my threads. So I thought I’d start with my own, and drop all the missed hauls!
Up first is some Studio Series guys, Grand Max upgrades, Baldigus Upgrade, Universal Snarl, and a Gold Convoy!

Chogooookin Dragonzooord

Then some Figuarts(?) Power Rangers. S’all about dat Dragon Zord

Randomly acquired IDW Megatron!

Random assortment of Blurays and Steelbooks (though I’m sure there’s more..)

Masterpiece theatre presents:

That weird “pimp my ride” Bumblebee, a couple Gold Starscream’s, and couple Punch’s, and some weird lil frog monster dude.

Wee Diaclones!

MEGA DORAGON

These two I was hyped over. HQ KO Leader Starscream’s. They’re both done up in primo paint jobs, though the Movie 1 SS is pretty close to the MPM SS. Which ain’t bad, cause the prices of a legit one… *gasp*. And the ROTF Screamer was never given the primo treatment (what with original being mostly grey and tats) but this one has the same robo bits painted up like his bro. The plastic quality DOES feel better on the legits, but again, for the price you can’t complain.

MPM Bee! And a big new Prime. And some more wee Diaclone’s.

Encore BM Primal. I love him. He looks fantastic. Even if it is still daft toy

Another random pick, Mafex Robocop. Holy crap, if you’re a fan of this silly franchise, I’d say this guy is the ticket. He’s not crazy expensive, nicely detailed, and kind of the Robocop figure I’ve always wanted. He’s posable… not insanely posable though. Let’s just say he’s probably slightly more posable than Robocop actually was. Which is kinda perfect. I just wish Mafex did a Terminator….

And my most recent and final haul, found in one shot two nights ago, the entire Siege Wave 1 (sans Leaders of course)

Well thanks fellas
I didn't think it was that much. Anyone remember the collected haul after my last hiatus? I thought it was way bigger this
And I forgot. I also got all the current Seekers from Cyberverse. HOLY CRAP what a let down. Honestly, I'm fine with a simplified child focused line, but don't charge the same amount as a mainline Deluxe. There are not enough moving parts or paint apps to justify that price.

Re: Shaki Jaki's Toy Shack
I almost fell for that cyberverse Seeker trap, but thankfully I was alerted to their short comings on the forum. I almost picked up the ultra class Shockwave, but then the Siege SW got announced. Like literally the same day I mentally committed to finding one.
I've scratched cyberverse completely off the list and I'm going try hard to resist Botbots. Even though they are kinda right up my ally. Just too costly of a rabbit hole and I hate blind boxes with a passion. So I'm voting with my wallet
You might be right about your last haulzilla

Can't wait for more on that Mega Dragon. Glad to see all those Dia Dudes in there. And, Cordon! Have you opened him? Does he stroke your robo chode the we he does mine?

Dragon is free, but so far has gone unsullied. And Cordon is still trapped. I suck lol
Hauls continue though! This guy... I wasn't fully convinced existed till I was holding him. But here he is, the reissue MP-9

Honestly I'm not even sure why I got him. I recently decided against collecting EVERY box variant in the MP line after MPM Barricade. Between the Japanese, Asian, and US release this time around, they were BARELY any differences. So I'm out. And MP-9, I already got 2 of 'em (neither are broken), 9B (not broken), and TRU Rod (is broken). So iunno

You're just secretly beginning to collect MP-9s like you collect MP-10s
Speaking of which, you did hear that they are doing a Ghostbusters/TF Crossover MP-10 next October? I'm really hoping they deco that Prime like Ecto-1 or the GB suit with Ghostbuster equipment to go with his ax and blaster

I'm definitly a bigger Rod fan than Prime fan... but we don't need new MP-9's. We need a new Roddy Prime, or more Hotrod's (seriously love 28).D-Maximal_Primal wrote:You're just secretly beginning to collect MP-9s like you collect MP-10s

I'm still lukewarm to MP-40, but he's not bad. Would be good to get a new Rodimus Prime that tried to just do the Rodimus thing.
And I don't know why, but we'll see. I'm hoping for something cool to come from this

I'm not saying they're working on a new Roddy Prime, but I figure it's an eventuality. They always show a lot of love towards Prime's (and not just Optimus). The way the line has changed, and the engineering has evolved, I'd say there's a good chance to see the melodically leader again.
Besides, how much longer can we wait for Galvatron? If they do him, a new Rod would be a shoe-in.

If we don't get a MP Galvatron by MP-50, I will be disappointed. He has to be in the cards here at some point in the very near future. I'm shocked after getting MP-09, MP-28, and MP-22 that Galvatron hasn't put in an appearance in the rumor mill at least.
I really want a Jazz so we get a Targetmaster Stepper to go with my Artfire and a MP Trailbreaker cause he's my favorite. Unless they do a Brainstorm and Whirl, that would be it for my G1 based MPs

Yeah, but with Takara's current greed in pricing, would a MP Galvatron even be worth getting at this point? I'm going back to take a hard look at a lot of 3rd Party figures I've passed on because I thought Takara would be making a cheaper version. Thats gone now....

I hear ya. The Unicron troops are probably my favorite Decpeticons aside from Seekers and Devs, and FT's versions were really hard to resist. Especially their Cyclonus, my gawd...Ironhidensh wrote:Yeah, but with Takara's current greed in pricing, would a MP Galvatron even be worth getting at this point? As for MP pricing of the future... there's only certain characters that would make me cringe. Like 44 with all his bits and bobs, but I mean.. Galvatron doesn't have a trailer
