Like title said. Voyager class is a decent figure but IMO a leader class would be even better (or not?).

*DISCLAIMER: I know, I know, I know, ok? I know.*

If/when we get another/other Leader class figures for DOTM, I think it'd be cooler if we got LEaders for Blackout or Bonecrusher, despite their possibly not being in the new film. I KNOW they were killed/other Decepticons scanned their alt modes/whatever helps people sleep at night, but rather than a third Leader Megatron, I'd prefer one of those two or maybe a Constructicon.

With that being said, I guess it's hard for me to believe that there's not going to be anyone for that super tall Butterfly Prime to face off with, unless we got a Leader Shockwave down the line. The Voyager MEgatron does look like he'd be more excellent in a bigger size, but I odn't have one so I'm just speculating.

I just....... sigh.... I mean, there are plenty of who-really-neads-to-have-leader-or-surpreme-class-figure lists but Hasbro kept giving us bigger Bumblebee.

Blackout and Bonecrusher aren't exactly realistic choices. Leaderclass is usually reserved for characters with a bit more screentime (Brawl is te exception) or are otherwise very important. It's a costly toy to make with a big pricetag. It just wouldn't make sense for Hastakomy to design a toy in that class that's not very likely to get a lot of recognition from the parents who buy these toys.

But, the other side of that is that there are innumerable Bumblebees. I fully know that he's a major robot character in the movies, and kids love him and all of that, but really, parents wouldn't buy their kid a big helicopter but supposedly will or do buy multiple of the same car? BB has become the Seeker arguement, that parents won't buy six different colored jets, but somehow will buy 6 of the same car with silightly different transformations or weapons? Brawl, hell, he not only got a Leader class but also a Leader class repaint, and kids love tanks....but they don't love military helicopters? I can see what you're saying working for not getting a LC Bonecrusher, since he's just a big truck thing, and wans't all that big a player in the movies. But Blackout was in both of them so far (I know, Grindor, I know....) Not arguing, just saying, and I agree with your point, I'm just adding I suppose.

Yes, there's a flood of Bumblebees, but it's also been 4 years. Kids age and 4 years onward (or even 2 years) they might have grown out of their transformers-phase (bunch of losers) and new kids want new BBB's and new parents go to get 'em. Ask a parent to name a TF. They'll mention Prime, BBB of maybe Megatron. If you find even one that says he's looking for Blackout, you next question should be if that guy is shopping for himself or his kids.

lol I've met parents that can name Starscream and Devastator, oddly enough.

My folks can name Ratchet and weirdly Hot Shot.

And yet, my folks cant pronounce Autobots. (They pronounce it Autobox O_O)

I guess it's a selected base of parents.

It'd be interesting but from what has already been confirmed I don't see it coming. But we never know.

As much as I'd love a Leader Blackout (and Bonecrusher, and The Fallen...), I really hope the next Leader is Megatron. I love his design, but I really don't want the tiny Voyager figure, since (in vehicle mode especially) it's just so tiny compared to my other figures. The only movie Optimus I have right now is ROTF Leader, and I don't want to get a Voyager Optimus just so I can have a Voyager Megatron, especially since the DOTM is by far the worst looking one and it's probably the only one that would look at all decent next to Megs. Getting a Voyager Prime would also mean I'd have to get a Voyager Starscream, which I don't want to do, since my HFTD Starscream would look ridiculously big next to Voyager Prime and Megs.

THIS, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, is exactly my situation. I only have very little amount of movie figures. Getting a voyager size Meg means I have to down size all others as well. Prime, Starscream, Brawl, and Jetfire, and the latter two do not have voyager class size. That will also bring my HA figures (BB, Jazz, Barricade) up to almost the same height with them. Nope and nope. Sigh....... when do Hasbro care about the scale and why I still do......

I only have movieverse figures and I still want a Leader DOTM Megatron

Actually I think DOTM Megatron deserves an Ultimate Class toy like OP, where all the robot fits within the truck cabin and the trailer is composed of several add-ons: battle-armor, 1 or 2 BFGs, and maybe some attack drones.

Otherwise, If Hasbro would make a Leader Megatron like the Voyager DOTM, where the whole truck + trailer "becomes" Megatron, again the alternate mode will be in a smaller scale than OP's truck mode.

A Leader Class Megatron for DotM would be very appreciated. It is the best Megatron design, and the Voyager toy already is better (IMO) than the Leaders were from the first 2 films. A Leader size of this awesome Tanker truck would be great, and I think it would be in scale with Voyager Prime in vehicle mode. DotM Leader Megatron, please!

Though I think Blackout also deserves a Leader Class size, with Scorponok added, just because his is the distinction of being the very first Transformer on a live action screen.

As a fellow teacher, let me jump in here to say that I understand the whole "need to joke about your students or you'd go nuts" thing. Outsiders never understand that, and look at us like we're Hitler if we voice that statement. (Hitler reference to keep with the Gott in Himmel thread....I'm also a German speaker and was once a German teacher....) And, in this current age where teachers and unions are the next Great Satan, it seems like we can't say aynthing about anything without someone who doesn't know acting like they do.

Not pointing fingers, or trying to derail this thread, I'm just saying. I know from expereince that others don't get teacher humor and would rather villify than be understanding, when they don't do that towards most other professions. PM me RhA, and we can trade stories if you like .

In 6-12 months we might see Leader Megs, a Best Buy Exclusive bundled with 4-disc DVD set for $99.99, j/k

Blackout would not be out of the question, First release is Blackout, second release in a different color would be Grindor.

2 is better then one, makes more sense then Brawl, since his repaint wasn't even in the movie.


I'd be all for leader Megs in this new alt mode though.
