No hole here except the one in your arguement. Anyway I'm done wasting my energy on you, back to the topic at hand.

That topic would be the rampant sexism in the Bayformers trilogy- and the community that supports it.

Shia le bouf REMINDS me of dylan from that 90210 show. In regards that both shia & dylan were the biggest supporters/friends of megan fox/brenda.

but when both women got fired. they both spoke badly about them afterwards. all in a desperate attemp to look like great COMPANY employed men & to win over their fellow workers still employed on the show/movie.

In review of the quoted lines on the first page I tend to agree. Assuming I'm reading what you said right, that didn't seem like sexism on Bay's part (the female leads of his other films that I've seen trend against the "16 year old" thing Lebouf said) and more on Lebouf's part.

Shia is just being nice on both parties, one becoming too arrogant with the fame gained and the other one trying to show who her boss is.

Fox has really hollow acting anyway. If the new woman is better at acting than she was then it's a step in the right direction... except for the fact that she's really only there to be a set of T's for Bay to get good shots of. He still would have been a better choice for the GI Joe movie than this one.

I've found his comments here to be extremely offensive to women in particular, and to the rest of the human race - whilst also displaying that 'teacher's pet' behaviour gets you places!

Yup, Mr LaBeouf is well schooled in schmoozing the right people (directors and producers) - whilst I found him entertaining in Disturbia, he has managed to get very far in the movie business using the same tired shtick.

Having watched both of the movies again recently, he was as, if not more annoying than, all the other humans that feature prominently in the movies - in that he has more screen time to whine, whinge, and act the smartass.

Lest not forget that (for older fans) he managed to completely sink the Indiana Jones franchise with his presence in Indy 4 (another example of sucking up to Steven Spielberg), and, talking to people who watched it, he did the same again in Wall Street 2 (sucking up to Oliver Stone).

Chances are, if Shia LeBoeuf is on board for a sequel to a much-loved film, he's gonna make it 'jump the shark' by performing his 2005 era SoCal spoiled teen routine (even though he's what age now, mid twenties?) even if it's set in a different era entirely. Get a new act, man! 8)

any reboot will have entirely different persona's for the robots & humans. at best it'll exist in another Transformers alternate universe.

If micheal bay isn't on board after TF3/DOTM. I don't think micheal bay would want anyone else messing with his established stories & characters in a TF4 movie. That's why it's rumored that the DOTM Movie will have a definate ending with epic final last stand battles.

Nope. I might agree with that if i could be assured that Sam's parents (especially Mom) and Agent Simmons' underwear will also be absent from DOTM.

I'd still take Megan over Rosie for looks anyday...Rosie's face...

Just my personal opinion, but I think Megan Fox is trying to replicate Angelina Jolie's gig--tattoos, Girl Power demeanor. Which is fine, but I'm not sure if she can act half as well as Jolie can. As a person and while playing a character, Jolie exudes a kind of seriousness that you can respect--Fox is just lacks that X-factor.

Personally, I'm indifferent to her as an actress in both TF movies. She served her purpose as the protag's love interest and general eye candy, no more no less.

If she feels such roles in TF aren't good enough for her, that's okay. But she really didn't have to make a fuss about it, calling Bay Hitler and stating in an E! interview that she didn't get a chance to show off her acting chops in ROTF. Honestly, what kind of Oscar-winning performance can you possible pull off as a supporting actress in a CG-driven action movie for kids?

I think that Megan Fox left because Bay is a pervert! I read an interview with her and she said as much. And there was a picture of Megan Fox and Michael
Bay and Bay had his hands all over her.
You guys are being awfuly harsh to Megan Fox, arn't you? I mean, just a few years ago, you were all talking about how hot she is, and now she's slutty? Maybe you're just mad she's leaving? You know I never liked her, but I think she kinda grows on you...
By the way- I really hate Carly in the movie. I loved the G1 Carly-she reminded me of myself (blonde, cute, smart, loved transformers)but the movie Carly... well I won't say it.

Exactly, how hot she is. Not her acting, but her appearance. You know how many guys who aren't even into the franchise watched the movies just for her? Not to take anything away from Megan Fox, I'm sure she's done well in her other movies (none of which I have seen) but her acting in these movies weren't all that great. And even if she wasn't given a 'chance to show her acting abilities', based on her first two outings her abilities better have been leaps and bounds over what she did before.
