I thought Bumblebee drove him around anyway
It's his dumb fault. If it's one thing I've learn when in my law classes is that if you refuse to take a breathilizer test, it's a one way ticket to riding the bus everywhere.

zap2it.com- Transformers Revenge of the Fallen star Shia Laboeuf has had his driver's license temporarily suspended based on events stemming back to his July 27th car crash.
While he was not charged in the event, in LA, when an individual refuses to take a blood alcohol test, that person's license can be suspended. Shia's suspension started January 17th, 2009.

Re: Shia LaBeouf loses driver's license--at least temporarily
If there's one thing that's pretty dang easy to notice on this site it's that Shia is the least favorite actor for everyone as it seems and even if there's sad news regarding him he's still quite the target to diss. What he did last summer was wrong, and he's been very apologetic about it since then and isn't denying he had a huge part in it. His liscence has been stripped for a while now and he's accepting it like a man. He also almost had his finger amputated and was forced out of a film project he wanted to shoot. Call me fanboy but give the kid some air time...Seriously I know he's not the best actor out there or probably the most classiest( going by the news reports) but some of the topics and posts about him on this site are pretty above the lines if you ask me, whether they be of comical intent or not, same with Michael Bay's case. What he did was reckless and he's suffered the consequences that should be quite the reminder.

WEll, you are right, he does seem to be everyone's favorite 'whipping boy' on here.
If you check the story I do say that we need to support him, with whatever ails him off screen.
The first person to cast a stone needs to make sure that they have no reasons for someone to cast one back in their direction...
But everyone has opinions, everyone makes mistakes, part of the package of being a 'star' and in Hollywood big budget films is putting yourself out there for the public to scrutinize your every move. With fame comes fortune and misfortune, and unfortunately, bad press sells papers more than good press.
If Shia learned something, the other driver learned something, and others reading their story learn something, than some good has come out of a bad situation, and that's the most you can hope for. Shia was fortunate that there were no fatalities, and the lesson is not harder for him, the other driver, the passengers, etc.
