when was the tanker confirmed to be megatron? also I don't understand what your getting at here

In the first movie it was all about the Allspark, the second it was about the Matrix, so with all those hints at previous mythology he's working on the theory that Shockwave will be after the Key to Vector Sigma.

It's not confirmed, it's just his theory. Pretty good one actually.

As for the Megatron thing, not sure how that relates and there's really been no OFFICIAL confirmation the tanker = Megs.

I'm not seeing it...not even how the Key to Vector Sigma relates but that's because I know absolutely nothing ABOUT the Key to vector Sigma...

Though on the Megatron thing, even if that was confirmed as his alt-mode...I'm still not seeing the connection.

its still too early but its not a bad prediction at all.. i've zero theories up to now. Could somebody give us a brief outline of the key and how it fits in...last time i seen mention of it was Beast Wars years ago.

Vector Sigma is the super-computer that can give sentience to a new transformer. It requires a key to activate it. It's original "first round" of TFs can also activate it if they sacrifice their own life.

I don't think the 3rd movie will go in this direction, since The Allspark was destroyed in the first movie-The Allspark basically did what Vector Sigma does. I don't know if the writers will go down this road, but they kind of did by entering the Matrix of Leadership. We will just have to see, I guess.

I agree it's a good guess. It's really only major player left of the cybertronian artifacts of G1 that's yet to appear of be mentioned. It's also something that could save their race from extinction. Right now the cybertronian race is backed into a corner, so something has to give for them to carry on.

Key To Vector Sigma: A Key or 2 keys one was Alpha Trion himself who merged with the Super Computer on Cybertron Called Vector Sigma which creates the Transformers or gives them thier personailties.

Then Megatron in Generation 1 had another key and it transformed Earth into a 2nd Cybertron basically turning organic life into metal when he points to stuff he can transmetal it.

Thats the Key I am refering to not Alpha Trion This Key is the one Megatron had.

Also it would recieve a movie-verse makeover and be nothing like Generation 1 such as in ROTF they gave the Matrix of Leadership a diffrent look and a diffrent use to be used as the a Key to activate the Sun Harvester.

The Key to Vector Sigma can be remade and be used for diffrent purposes but in a sense be sort of like its generation 1 counterpart.

I am working on more theories right now using things from the series such as Beast Wars and others maybe I can find something in those and see if i can use it to come up with a good theory on what Shockwave is after on the moon.

But so far The Key to Vector Sigma is my best guess I will post more of my theories as i have them.

For now I am going to be busy with Fallout New Vegas, Fable 3, SVR 2011 and other games and also be watching Prime this November.

I guess right on Prime saying that the 1st episode would be multi-part also I guessed right saying it would be sometime in November or December however i couldnt confirm that.

I also caculated that Prime would be 3 seasons long cause of it being 65 episodes which I rounded out to be 3 seasons according to my caculations.

Given Megatron had an army equipped with them in Beast machines it's definitely possible make more than 1. It's power to transform organic material into metal or cybertronian materials could also come into play. In the key to Vector sigma part2 Megatron wanted to convert the earth into a new cybertron once he discovered it's special power. Another reason to fuel shockwave and the decepticons to want it.

Interesting Key Info: Also in G1 Alpha Trion merged with the Vector Sigma to create the Aerial Bots

Also The Key to Vector Sigma could be the thing to be used to revitilize Cybertron has the same qualifications as The Allspark.

They Both Create. But in the hands of evil The Key could turn Earth into a new Cybertron but in the hands of good could rebuild Cybertron.

I am saying it isnt confirmed this is my theory. In a way it could fit in with the film but I know DOTM will be way diffrent but be cool if my theory was proven right.

I would like for just one time. To have one of my theories to be proven right I had theories and predictions before some were right some werent and I couldnt use them cause they werent confirmed by the official source.

But months later they were actually confirmed to be true anyways.

Be cool if the Key To Vector was in DOTM but I have a gut feeling that DOTM plot key will be something totaly diffrent. I gueess we have to wait 10 more months and find out for our selfs.

Maybe future trailers will provide us with hints on what to expect.

I am glad you people liked my theory on The Key To Vector Sigma. When I make these theories I try to make them make sense and connect to the films or the animated series.
