Show your support for the VFX team at ILM

Ok,

We all know that the VFX work was far superior in Transformers than in Golden Compass but this topic is not for discussing that. I think it is important that we, as Transformers fans, show our support for all the hard work the ILM team did on the movie. So please sign here and offer supporting comments. Remember, many fans complained about everything they saw until the movie was released and ILM constantly did their best work while it was being criticised.

I want to say to ILM that the VFX in Transformers were simply stunning. The Autobot arrival scene was breathtaking, Optimus' arrival at the final battle and transformation was incredible and Starscream's dogfight with the F-22's was pure brilliance. Please don't take this shunning by the critics to heart and I look forward to what you do with Transformers 2. :APPLAUSE: :APPLAUSE: :APPLAUSE:

Please show your support. Like I said there is another topic for complaining Transformers lost at the Oscars. This is not that topic. Also if somebody is able to get this to the attention of the talented fellows at ILM that would be cool.
Watch the first of my youtube series, Friends Transform.

Transformers should have won, if there was a veto allowed and I was in charge it would have read "and the oscar for best visual effects goes to Transformers".

I consider this decision based on the fact that we've never seen anything like these designs before let alone the complexity involved in rendering them, alot of the transformations were literally hand drawn / designed and specific parts of the bots were manually transformed to match the scenes around them.

They literally did lose sleep creating them and I will never forget the hard work and talented crews that dedicated themselves to getting the job done on time!

The folks at ILM, Digital Domain and everyone else did an AMAZING job!

Thank you! ;)^
