I do feel let down though, but that won't mean it is not going to be a good series, who knows this series may continue in Bay's world. I didn't like RotF, but maybe this series will be good right? I mean hopefully......

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

I'm taking the same approach as you and personally, I don't see the image as a blatant rip-off of Bay style BB but more as a blend of a few different styles and done for exactly the reasons you stated.
I happen to like this new style but that opinion is unfortunately going to be buried in the whiny, derisive prattlings of the selfish, the ignorant and the otherwise completely intolerant which makes up the vast majority of this fandom.
Amen. No truer words have been written on here. Every transformers series has it's goods and bads, but it seems many fans have alot of trouble seeing that. Instead of intelligently critiquing something, a series, a figure, a movie, talking about what they did right, or what they did wrong, it just gets a blanket of hateful and senseless remarks. Transformers has a much larger fanbase than many other comic/cartoon/sci-fi franchises and it's a shame people have to be that way. Hats off to the folks who run sites like Seibertron and TFwiki, who give credit to the transformers franchise as a whole.

I'm a bit confused here. Why are 3 or 4 people complaining about people hating on the new bumblebee, when no one had actually bitched about the new bumblebee?
Oh dang it, now I'm complaining about the complainers.![]()
Anyway, the new style seems to me like a fusion of movie and Transformers: Hero. Not my look of choice, but it'll all come down to the storytelling and characterisation in the end. Looking forward to seeing what other characters are in the lineup.

This looks a lot better than TFA Bumblebee. TFA srsly what a joke.
How so?sushilove wrote:I don't see it set on between the movies timeframe. At least not in between ROTF and the third movie because it could cause continuity problems.
But there Movie comics cover all this. The Movie Prequel and Defiance cover the pre-movie 1 history, and The Reign of Starscream and Alliance cover the post-movie 1 and pre-ROTF history.sushilove wrote:Maybe a cartoon based on the NEST team and their activities between the first movie and ROTF?? but bumblebee wasn't on nest and that sneak peak looks different than movie bumblebee.... I don't know...
I'm thinking maybe the show could be set before the movies timeline. With transformers leaving cybertron and searching for the allspark all over the galaxy and ultimately arriving to earth. Could it be with transformers on an earth-like planet? has it been done before?
